Located at Sails Resort
First time here and went with four long-time locals. My first impression of the restaurant was a disappointment. As it is set in Rydges Sails Resort I expected something better than bare tables and vinyl seating, although the outlook to the river and marina was very pleasant. The locals all commented that "It must be the holiday menu" as mains were all about $3 more expensive than previously. Entrees low $20s, mains high $30s and desserts $15. A friendly waitress took our order. I chose cannelloni and the others opted for various steaks or salmon. I wished I'd gone for the salmon as it looked nice whilst the sauce on my cannelloni was almost dried up leaving me thinking it had been "kept warm" while the other meals were being cooked. One of the steaks got the tick of approval but the other two were not up to standard, being hard to cut. The steak knife needed a bit of sawing to cut it through. Four of us had dessert. The creme brulee and tiramisu got ticks of approval while two other diners opted for the apple tarte tartin which inexplicably arrived topped with chocolate icecream with the butterscotch sauce! The menu clearly said it was served with vanilla! After a fruitless wait to catch a wait-staff 's eye, one of the group went in search of one to ask for the correct icecream to be served. This was done nicely with a genuine apology. We were all still puzzled as to how that could have left the kitchen without correction. Before we left I went to the ladies room and the cleanliness of that left me unimpressed also. My overall 3-star rating is generous I think. Many other nice restaurants in Port to choose from. I doubt I'll be back to this one.

What a hidden gem this place is! Staying nearby, we were recommended this place by the owners of The Little Blue Church and were so pleased we followed their advice. This cafe is relaxed, understated with superb food (including many vegetarian options), fabulous coffee and delightful staff. I canât recommend this place highly enough!

HiMy wife and I ate at the Corner Sunday morning for breakfast as we have been doing every 3-4 months for a couple of years. We were quite surprised at the price increase in food, particularly 55 cents for one teaspoon of honey I had with my tea.I think we will go and buy breakfast ingredients at a supermarket and cook nice and fresh at home.Mike and Jo

Craft beers, Joel with tales to tell and the alluring exterior fairy lights. What was not to love about our visit to this hidden gem? An impressive wine list and the pork belly with brussel sprouts on the side topped off a great evening for us.

good coffee, good food, good people, good God I'll see ya there!
We shared the chef's selection, which consisted of five courses. Their menu selection was outstanding, especially the blending of ingredients that I have never experienced before. They use local produce as far as possible. Their slow-cooked meats were truly melt-in-your mouth. The wine list was minimal, barely adequate. Decor was basic - definitely not fine dining. Their use of local produce cooked extremely well is their attraction.

Café focusing on LOCAL, fresh and all homemade. After falling in love with all things farming, we purchased 450 chickens & a chicken caravan to supply us directly to the cafe. Our hens live an awesome life out on fresh pasture. When theyâre not laying egg
Food is lovely and well presented, prices are good and the coffee is excellent. The service is slow and they got a few things like drink orders wrong. Would go back but they really need too over haul there service staff to improve overall.
