Temple of Peace and Health

Located in Cardiff city centre, the Temple of Peace first opened in 1938 and stands out as the venue with a heart. It is a Grade II listed building, is home to the Welsh Centre of International Affairs (WCIA) and is recognised as a symbol of Wales' concern for international peace: all profits generated from booking the Temple's Marble Hall go straight back into the WCIA.

Bedwas Workmen's Hall

Reviewed By adambird1

I’ve been involved with Bedwas Workmen’s Hall since 2014, as both a volunteer and a member of the committee. It’s been amazing to watch the venue grow from strength to strength and seeing footfall increase between events in the theatre and classes in the Arts Centre. The team that run the hall are some of the hardest workers I know, and put blood, sweat and tears into keeping it going, and I mean that literally as well as figuratively. We’re currently on the hardest part of our journey with raising money for a much needed lift so we can offer the venue to the whole community, and all the help we get, we couldn’t be more thrilled. It may be favouritism to give 5 stars being single involved, but it’s not just for the hall, it’s for the volunteers, the committee, and most of all, the fantastic community that have been behind us every step of the way. Here’s to 2020 and the future!

The Riverfront Newport

An excellent multi-purpose facility in the heart of Newport City Centre. Have a dip in the pool, keep fit in the gym or take part in numerous sporting activities, treat yourself in the Café, enjoy a live music concert or you can host your own party or business event. Newport Centre has a large leisure pool complete with wave machine and large flume, a Café, an Active Newport Gym, a range of fitness classes and many of the spaces within the venue are available to hire. There are also a number of live entertainment events including music concerts and exhibitions, you can view and book a live entertainment event online.
