We wondered around a bit before we decided on this restaurant. Being our first night in the area it was very difficult to pick from the massive selection in a small area however an all you can eat buffet (including drinks) is hard to turn down. You get a 2 and a half hour slot to eat and drink anything you want (including house wine and beer) all for 29Euro each. They had a great selection of precooked food, sushi and salads as well as a Wok section where you could pick your own veg and meat before they cooked it for you. The desert selection was also fantastic with the chocolate fountain being a firm favourite. The staff were friendly and they regularly cleared away empty plate. According to the rules on their website they will charge you extra if you leave anything on your plate (obviously trying to prevent food waste) so you do need to be sure that you can eat everything you put on your plate. However within the time slot there is plenty of time to just relax and digest a bit before picking up another plate. Would definitely go back there again.
You'll always feel welcome at this Chinese Indonesian restaurant where the owners personally attend to your needs. Tip: stray from the menu and have the cook make up something especially for you, you will be surprised!

In the picturesque village of Wormer near de Zaanse schans I found this small take out place. It has one table and some chairs. But seems to be purely take out. What makes it special is that it serves Vietnamese cuisine. In France you can expect this, but not in the Netherlands. Where the (in)famous Chinese Indonesian restaurants is the norm. Vietnamese cuisine in the Netherlands is usual reserved for the big city like amsterdam and Rotterdam. So I was pleasantly to find it there.Originally they had a foodcart in wormer selling Vietnamese snacks, after a few decades. it became so popular that they decided to upgrade to a takeout place. They have not changed the prices from the cart, but added regular dishes to the menu. As a result the prices are very very friendly. But the Portions are still generous. But what truly impressed me were the freshness of the ingredients. The color and taste of the vegetables just popped out to me. Not your typical takeout food. The best value dish is the vegetarian dish at â¬4,00!! Wow. I'd think the ingredients in the supermarket is more expensive. And you can choose from different sauces. The best dish was the sweet and sour friend chicken. One of the best fried chickens ever. Combination of crunchy crispy skin and succulent juicy meat. Made me think of Chinese crispy roast pork!! How did they do that?!Another favorite was the rice noodles with large prawns(gambas). They used large wok fryers and you can truly taste the wok hei in the dish. The distinct smokiness and slightly charred flavor. It invoked memories from my travels in Asia. Wok hei is not something you taste often in the west.I live to far away to eat here daily or even weekly, but people in wormer area are lucky. And if you visiting the Zaanse schans or other sites in the area this place is good enough to make the side trip.Hopefully they will not wait to long to take the next step and make the place a real eatery.

This is for tourists who like chinese food. I live near this restaurant and often I order food with this chinese restaurant. The Quality of the food is very good and the price is normal. It is only a little bit far away from the Zaanse Schans.

Stopped by for lunch after visiting Zaanse Schaans. It is on the main road and they have outdoor parking available. On the positives, the food tasted alright and the interiors looked clean and neat and the Wi-Fi worked well. On the flip side though, Charged us 1 euro for tap water. They don't accept card. Not worth the price paid. 51 euro for half decent Chinese take away food.
