Been ordering from this place for a number of years and have never had a problem . The food is good and consistent . Very quick service and reliable . A must for a takeaway evening meal . They are open from 5:30 and have an excellent selection . Very happy with this place

Have been having takeaway from this Chinese restaurant for many years and the food is absolutely stunning.The staff are very friendly and like to get to know their regulars and the food they enjoy. Customer service excellent.Previous reviews are incorrect, as this restaurant has an excellent hygiene rating, was a 4 but previously increased to a 5! Highly recommend the satay skewers, well worth a visit!!! Thank you

Easy to find on main road, some times parking can be difficult due to other shops being close by. Easy to make telephone order for collection, on arrival quick and fast service and food was at a high quality

This was a takeaway order, The order was placed before 9pm yesterday the time for delivery was before 10.15pm, when it had not arrived by 10.30pm I rang the shop and asked what the problem was, I explained my delivery had not arrived and it had been almost 1 and 3/4 hrs since it was ordered, I asked what the reason was, the reply was "we are a very busy Chinese, it will be another half an hour or so" I stated that 2 and 1/4 hrs wait for chicken curry rice and BBQ ribs, was too long and could they deliver it A.S.A.P. It arrived in 15 minutes and the food itself was good. I will probably use them again but not if I am hungry or in a rush.

Have always found the lotus house to be the best Chinese takeaway in the area,have always had food from this takeaway and have never been disappointed: best chicken balls for miles, not a sit down restaurant.

This is a take away like any other in the Rhondda that I have used. With the exception of some very good Indian take away places, the standard of take away food in the Rhondda is poor. The fare from Chinese take away premises is especially poor. The prevalence of food dyes to give the food some sort of oriental aura is a puzzle. The choice on the menus is sorely lacking, limited to chop suey and chow mein (more American in origin than Chinese), simple sauces which are always too thick, sweet and sour dishes and chips. The Lucky Wok is slightly better than most if only because the food gets to you hot, other than that it is best avoided like the rest.
