Things to do in Ranau
Located at Kiaburi Plaza in Ranau town, you canât miss the restaurant as it is clearly marked. Food is awesome however it is a bit pricey. A popular place for locals. They serve no pork. They have different sections for smokers and non-smokers. Service is quick. Recommended.
Came here after a very disatifying dip at the Poring hot spring before heading back to KK.There were two restaurants directly opposite the hot spring.. We chose this one as it looked brighter..We ordered one of their set lunch and added a small portion of fried noodle...The fried noodle was so good that we ordered another large portion...Food wasn't bad and price was reasonable. And its literally just across the road from Poring hot spring entrance...

We had breakfast at this restuarant on 5 June morning before we left Kundasang and heading back to KK. About an hour after the breakfast, my younger daughter who is 10 years old complained about stoamch ache. Then, she started to vomit. In the whole journey from Kundasang to KK, she vomitted few times. The first thing we did was to bring her to see a doc upon arriavl at KK. According to doc, if the food is severe contaminated, it only take half an hour for a young kid to start the suffering. She took dried noodles and fresh strawberry juice during breakfast which was prepared by the restaurant. In the same evening, my hubby who shared the noodles with my daughter in the breakfast started to have stomach ache too. He then vomitted 3 times from night till next morning. Meanwhile, my daughter and my hubby are still not recoverd on 7 June when this post is written. My daughter is not able to intake any thing but vomitting - even liquid like water. She is seriously dehyrating due to too much vomitting. We brought her to visit a doc again. Besides, my hubby is still suffering from the stomach cramp. There was a customer complaining to the owner there were a lot of flies in the restaurant but was told it is flies season and they can't stop it. I am not sure whether the flies contaminted the food or the food freshness is a question mark. Despite of the source of contamination, the resaturant owner should always take necessary action to ensure food safety.Hi Nblian, we feel truly sad to hear about this. We hope your family member are now recovered. We would like to apologize on this case and we will definitely , surely take action and seeing this case in serious manner. Please leave your contact to us at 013-812 8826 and we would like to apology to you in personal.
