Known as Padova in Italian, Padua may be the oldest city in northern Italy, if you believe the claims of its 12th-century BC founding by Trojans. It certainly has history, including its famous university (one of Europe’s oldest, from 1222), the 13th-century Basilica di Sant'Antonio (resting place of St. Anthony), and Scrovegni Chapel, with Giotto’s famed 14th century frescos. The magnificent Prato della Valle, a 950,000-square-foot elliptical square, is thought to be Europe’s second-biggest.

Had lunch all you can eat with my friends. Place is big and nice and food is also good and there are plenty of choices on the menu. A bit outside the city center though

The various sushi dishes were very well prepared and presented. The eat as much as you can option at 24 euros was excellent value. Waiting staff were very friendly and happy to advise on dishes. The restaurant is well laid out with a traditional Japanese feel and has a pleasant atmosphere and next time that I am in Padua I will certainly eat there again

Sushi House is an excellent sushi restaurant, first quality ingredients, new and unexpected recipes, and a distinct japanese feeling are the venue's strenghts. Located in the very core of the city, it offers along with classic japanese cuisine many fresh
Since there are no reviews of Sushi House in English yet, I'll provide a largely positive one for this restaurant, which I chose to make a change from abundant Italian food in Padua. I arrived early (7.30pm) when the place was almost empty, and received attentive service. (I see some recent reviews complaining about the service... it did indeed slow down a lot when the place filled up, though the staff were pleasant when not so busy, and helped in English when my Italian struggled). The 22euro all-you-can-eat menu is undoubtedly good value. It includes anything on the wide-ranging Japanese menu except drinks, dessert and a 2euro cover charge. Many tables consumed huge amounts of sushi on this deal! My sushi was acceptable, not amazing (no wasabi or pickled ginger provided), but I ordered conservatively - I saw some really beautiful-looking plates passing by, so think the chef knows his stuff. The vegetable tempura was perhaps a fraction oily, but zero complaints about the shrimp tempura, teriyaki or wakame - all really tasty. I'd return when pastaed out in Italy... but do go early to get served!

The menu was extensive so our young daughter was very happy with the options. The food was outstanding, very good service and the servings were generous. The meals were excellent value and the house wine was surprisingly good with a 0.5 l only â¬5.50. Our daughter wants to go back before we go!

The waiters were awesome and helpful! The food was so delicious! The sushi is a must and the edamame is great too. Also, the dumplings are good and any kind of sushi! The miso soup was a favorite, too!

I visited the restaurant already few times for aperitivo. Instead of potato chips you get served with tasty edamame soybeans and sushi accompanied by a glass of good wine. The place and the atmosphere are really pleasant. I definitely recommend the restaurant and I'm looking forward to try the Chinese cuisine next time!
