It is a part of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, and lies about 10 km southwest of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. It has about 31,300 inhabitants, half of which live in the newly built district of Getsewoud. The built-up area of the town was 3.71 km, and contained 7,513 residences. The wider statistical area of Nieuw-Vennep has a population of around 40,000. In 2001, Nieuw-Vennep had 17,886 inhabitants, which later doubled due to the development of Getsewoud.

We know this restaurant since many years ago (we lived in Hoofddorp). It is a typical Chinese restaurant (Dutch style). The service is great and the food is fine!

10 years ago, this restaurant was serving luxe food with impressive decorations.I went there recently and it became a common Chinese restaurant where the food is rather greasy and the service very cold.There are more places in Hoofddorp to eat best Asian food, I would pass on this one for the next 10 years, hoping to see a comeback to what it used to be.

You can have a great variety of Asian food here, specially authentic Chinese food. While keeping lots of traditional recipes, the restaurant also mix and match to create something new and special.The quality of food here is very high and staff are very friendly. This is a nice place to eat when you visit Lisse or Keukenhof Garden.

Very big restaurant with enormous variaty of food offering cosy areas where you have privacy due to very good interior. Fingerlicking good! Everybody can eat as they have vegetarian, fish, meet, sushi, wok, etc. You select yourself and food is very fresh due to continuous preparation at the counter.

This place serves the best chinese food in the wide area. It is a member of the FER and with honour! The price is decent. Free parking in front of the restaurant. A large menu and impacable quality.

Als wij al eens chinees gaan halen, dan is het meestal cheun po beef en for nam en niet de standaard chinese/hollandse dingen zoals babi pangang. Afgelopen zondag hebben we eens een keer wel babi pangang n foe yong hai gehaald. In het eiergerecht zaten welgeteld DRIE erwten... ik vond het een aanfluiting, zat niks van groenten in en een enkel stukje kip en dus die DRIE erwten... we hebben ze eerlijk verdeeld ;-)De cassave was ook niet meer wat het geweest is, tegen het randje van verbrand aan en daardoor bitter/niet lekker. Jammer hoor.... Toch maar weer zelf koken, of naar de andere chinees in het dorp gaan.Wat deze chinees als voordeel heeft is dat je er altijd kunt parkeren.

Ate here with 3 couples. Reviews were mixed, which explains the "average" rating (actually it should be "good", but this rating is not offered as an option). Not bad at all, because "average" would apply to virtually all Chinese/Indonesian restaurants. Service was good, but that's to be expected. Overall prices were right for the value provided. What stood out though were the carved vegetables (flowers, turtle etc.), which is kind of unique for this type of restaurant. It's more Thai I think.
