Things to do in Marysville
we love the almond pressed duck w/ sweet/sour sauce - hard to find on Cantonese menus nowadays! brandy fried chicken is another favorite, as is Peking spare ribs, West lake beef soup. service can be slow when they're slammed with a lot of takeout business, but the staff do their best. very reasonable prices, large portions
A little history first. Lee's Canton Restaurant was originally opened by Betty and George Lee around 1971 and had been a fixture in the community ever since. When the Lees retired they sold it, but it retained the name. The menu and recipes were changed some, people didn't like it and the customers stayed away until it failed. It was purchased by the current owners several years ago and has pretty much returned to the same style the Betty and George maintained. Currently, the wait staff is comprised of Shelley and Shane, husband and wife. Both very friendly and will rush to get you taken care of, but will always have time to ask how the family is doing. The menu is extensive, harboring just about any time of Chinese food you can think of. Portions are always more than adequate and you won't ever go home hungry. Hot green tea and fortune cookies are complimentary. Some of our favorite dishes include the Pork Chow Mein, Barbequed Pork, Cashew Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Beef and Broccoli, Egg Rolls and Brandy Fried Chicken.Besides the regular menu items, Lee's has lunch and dinner combos in about eight varieties. You can always substitute to make your own combo. Also, they have family style combos for dinner that consists of their most popular dishes.Besides the hot tea, they also have a variety of soft drinks and the more common beers and wines for consumption. The ambiance and decor is traditional Chinese, and not fancy. Booths for four and two are on one side of the dining room, and a long row of tables line the other, with booths for families or larger groups in three of the corners. They do a large take out business. They also have a banquet room available. If you have a large group, you need to call ahead to reserve this room and to make sure they have ample staff on hand.A nice family restaurant, clean and staffed with friendly people with good food and fair prices. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Yuba City/Marysville area.
The flavors were not what I expected, which is good! This is not the same-old, same-old Chinese food. It is a little different, a little special. I can't describe the difference. Try something new! Wonderful! GREAT people.

Full service Chinese food restaurant.
Another of my wife's places to eat. The prices are reasonable and the food is OK but not great.

The restaurant had an old time feeling with plastic over the table clothes and the family children playing at the back table. Obviously family run with pleasant and quick service. Food was decent if not overwhelming. Seemed fresh and was certainly tasty.
