This week gem is one of the best restaurants l have visited. Great varied menu, very reasonably priced and excellent service. They receive you with prawn crackers and lichee licour. We had the set menu and is worthwhile, we had asome starters the spring rolls, just made, huge and delicious. We had beef and duck as mains. Generous portions and very tasty, specially the duck, moist and succulent. Dessert choices are good, l had ice cream. Yum yum. At the end, they gave us a gift when we ask for the bill. Thank you for my calendar!! One of the best choices for food, so don't miss it. Just get there early as it's busy most of the time, specially if you want to eat outside

There are set meals for less than 5 euros per head which are great value, especially at lunchtime. But in the evening their menus for 2 are even better. You can have the works, including sangria, prawn crackers, starters, 3 or 4 mains with rice and noodles, dessert, coffee, a bottle of wine and schnapps, all for less than 15 euros for 2. And there's plenty too! We sometimes have our meal then watch the Spanish football on their big TV. No-one minds, they have even brought us drinks on the house while we do so. They are really friendly people and the women do all the work! Plenty of parking outside too.

Well what can I say, the gran china is the best chinese meal we have had, EVER. The restaraunt was recomended to us by a freind they said it was good but we did not expect what we got. after being geeted by a very pleasant young lad, he gave us the menu there was so much to chose from we took ages to decide so on knowing this the lad brought us a free drink of passion juice plus some home made prawn crackers with a dip to nibble on while we decided. I had half btl wine, hubby had a largar. My husband started with the hot sweet n sour soup and I had the veg spring roll,( not one of those soggy finger ones you get in england) no this was very large square crispy and filled with very fresh veg, the main course was to die for, my better half had on a platter half chicken curry and half batterd calamari, with the lovliest fried rice. I orderd the duck it came on a sizziling hot plate it had sliced beef ,chicken, pork, prawns, onions and a crispy duck breast on the top.in the most amazing sauce.I orderd a portion fo chips as my side.but they never got touched. they then brought out a glass of sangria with a plate of fresh fruit. I could not eat another thing. hubby had some pistatchio icecream/ and vanilla. we refused the shnappes as we where stuffed. then when we had paid they asked if we would like a present of choc or wine. I chose the wine and he brought us a btl of wine to take with us. ( I wonded why people where leaving carrying a btl of wine ) all this for 19 euros for both of us.This restaraunt is a must try.

We were recommended by friends to try this restaurant and as we were local on the day, we decided to do early doors. It was about 5.45pm. 6 of us arrived to a warm friendly welcome. The restaurant was big, clean and drinks were ordered. The meals were ordered no problem. The problem was with the service. The meal started to arrive, one by one by one by one.A dish at a time followed by the rice to compliment that dish about 15 minutes later. In fact two of our party had rice before the main course, with a long wait for the main. From the first meal to the last, we waited 20 minutes. I have been as honest as possible on this and Iâm a regular reviewer on here, Iâm fair and honest but without giving the restaurant one bubble, I have given two.The food was good, hot and tasty but the lack of chefs in the kitchen obviously was the problem. We just couldnât get it through to the staff thatâs this is unacceptable. They didnât see the problem.By all means, go, try and enjoy but we just couldnât risk returning to have another bad experience. On paying the bill we were giving one bottle of red wine per couple, nice touch. When we opened it at home all three bottles were crystallised obviously out of date and off. Another screw in their coffin.Sorry, the chef was off duty when you came, so it was a little slower. Thank you for your comments.

Invited by friends for a meal out. We were all warmly welcomed and given a table a well kept and organised restaurant. Service was quick and the menu offered a massive choice and was impressively varied. We had a chicken and prawns in a spicy sauce & chicken & fish dish. Price (food menu of the day) proved good value with choice of starter, variety of mains with slight price variations but all includes drink and dessert. We will certainly return.

Ok so the food is really cheap and good value but the service was poor!We waited a long time to first be acknowledged, our starter didnât take long to arrive but our main was forgotten..... After seeing people who arrived 20-30 mins after we did get their food I spoke to a waiter and we finally got our food.Spring roll was tasteless and square. Donât recommend the chicken in peanut sauce but the chicken and mushrooms was nice.
