Ordered 5 dishes. The chicken with cashew nuts came without the cashew nuts. The chicken curry had no heat. The worst problem was the gluten free dish. They sent a different meal. When I rang to ask where the correct meal was they first of all denied taking the order. They then admitted to taking it but the chef no longer cooked gluten free so they just sent another dish. This meant one of our friends had no dinner. The only reason we were ordering from Jade House was that they have previously cooked gluten free dishes for us. Due to the substandard meal and attitude of the staff I will not be back here.

Has Always been our first choice for Chinese food in Ballymena. Vegetable Spring rolls are delicious and nearly a meal in themselves. Sauce disappointing. My daughter ordered honey chilli beef and there was so much chilli in it she was unable to eat it. Now has been sick for 4 days. Service was terrible. Takeaway was extremely busy with delivery times 1.5 hours. Not an enjoyable experience unfortunately and quite expensive. Would not be rushing back. Has lost the restaurant experience and heating poor. Family ate with their coats on and we were glad to get back to the car to get warmed. Will not be returning. Need to prioritise customers who are paying restaurant prices!

The food from the Golden Fry is as good as, and better than, many of the Chinese Take Away in Belfast. The menu is pretty standard with all of the usual dishes available. You can see the food being cooked. The premises are clean, having recently been refurbished. The owners work in the kitchen themselves and are always friendly. The curry chips are the best I've had!

Excellent Chinese food - good portion size, well presented & very tasty! Rib starter just fell off the bone, delicious. Staff very attentive and helpful. As others have said, very small, tables close together, cash only & only access I could see is up a flight of stairs.

est.1966, said to be the oldest Chinese restaurant in Northern Ireland, situated next to "The Braid" Art Center, offer pre theater menu and a full bar. A modern style, comfortable and inviting establishment.
This is the longest established Chineese Resturant in Ballymena. The food remains good as is the service. Maybe the interior would benefit from a little enhancement although would make no changes to the quality on offer.. Its nice to speak with a Chineese girl with a local dialect
