The view is nice and it’s very easy to get to. Worth a visit. Just be careful because once you reach the cave the ground is partly slippery even when it’s dry.

Very beautiful scenic formation to view afar and cruise via small boat Best time is in morning to have sun shining into crystal clear waters and reflect of sandy bottom giving vivid blues If you travel by public bus get off at Panorama stop and then short walk to cliff top viewing point for spectacular views on formation Then walk back to road and down hill to bay were you pay for ~25 minutes boat ride which weaves through grotto and other caves Then catch public bus Route 201 from Grotto station to Hagar Qim temples ( one stop) which are World Heritage sites

St. Paul’s Catacombs are a typical complex of interconnected, underground Roman cemeteries that were in use up to the 4th century AD. They are located on the outskirts of the old Roman capital Melite (today’s Mdina), since Roman law prohibited burials within the city. St Paul’s Catacombs represent the earliest and largest archaeological evidence of Christianity in Malta. The site was cleared and investigated in 1894 by Dr A.A. Caruana, the pioneer of Christian archaeology in Malta.
These catacombs are a place where the people of Mdina used to be burried between 3rd and 8th century. During the tour you can see the graves dug in the stone and many old wall paintings. It was really a special experience for me and would recommand it.

I was unexpectedly surprised to find this little gem of a cave under the house in Gozo. The lovely host took me down to this wonderful cave. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
