What a great spot this is! It bustles with life, the food is good, and the servers quick, pleasant and speaking a fair bit of English. We ate there twice. On the second occasion I wasn't feeling great, and the server made up a little plate of rice and salad which was just perfect. Delightful ambience and reasonable prices. It was hard to tear ourselves away.

The Accra starter was delicious, others has good lobster, duck and steak. I have had tastier octopus but served with potatoes and rice! Some salad or green veg would have been better. Fresh squeezed orange juice, refreshing.Very hot when first arrived, but staff turned fans up which made it comfortable.Cosy decor.
An informal place directly on the beach, with a nice view and good food. I had a big hamburger with pomme frites and raclette and it was a great combo, my father tried a tartare and he appreciated too. Prices in line with the island, but here you have good quality and kindness, which is always a plus!

We took a table near the water; actually we were less than half a meter from the water. It turned out that they had a floating table so you could actually eat in the water. We were the only people there and we ordered some water while we looked at the menu. The restaurant was inspired and influenced by the Vietnamese kitchen and I ordered a Vietnam salad followed by some ice cream. The food was okay, spicy and light and what I needed on a hot day like we had. It was not a particular cheap place but being on an isolated island like this all goods have another price. We paid 36 euro for us both with only water, which actually was quite pricy.

A l'époque "Galante Traiteur" fut notre cantine.
