As part of my husband's birthday weekend treat, we had lunch at Cafe on the Ridge at Taal Vista Hotel. He liked the food very much. First off, there was pretty and healthy salads of all sort. Lechon or roasted pork was crispy and to die for. Dumalagang manok had an exquisite taste. Brazo de Mercedes, Maja Blanca desserts were not bad, but the Champorado gelato was our favorite must-try. While dining, there was the thrilling Mindanao and other folk dances for entertainment. The deal voucher we used was indeed of very good value. To top it off, the view outside of the Taal Volcano was perfect for a pictorial.
I am a regular in different SB branches in the metro. Most of the time, I order their Iced café Americano (I do intermittent fasting) or Ice caramel macchiato and French toast. For this afternoon, I ordered the former. Iâm on my weekend excursion to Caleruega when I noticed this brand new commercial spot âTwin Lakesâ and I havenât had my coffee of the day so I went and had a short break. The parking area for motorcycles is in the basement of the Robinsonâs supermarket. Had my order and enjoyed the view outside. Same us their branch that overlooks the Taal Lake, this oneâs view will also take your breath away. The ambience and the courtesy of SB workers is always a plus.Pros:-Ambience-View-CourtesyCons:-None
Continuing the Java Jazz tradition, plus fun and engaging activities to emerge your inner creativity!
We knew about this through spot.ph but it was called âJazz Cafeâ in the article. Apparently, they renamed to âBalai Ma-yiâ just this May 2018. Waze still points to it as Jazz Cafe, though. The staff were friendly, alert, and gracious. They also served fast and efficiently. The food was really good considering the quite affordable price (the beef tapa was superb at 99 pesos, with garlic rice and egg; the hash brown platter also tastes awesome, with choices of bacon, egg, ham, etc. at 185 pesos; their special blend coffee ma-yi is a must-try).Hello Kate,Thank you for taking time to drop us a review, and we are glad to hear you loved our service and food!We continue to work on improving every aspect of our business, to keep our community of personnel and clients-turned-friends happy, inspired and satisfied. They sell good tasting bread and pastries. The latte is also good. Seating is limited so it is mostly take out.

Good but not as creamy as that from Baguio. This seemed rushed because even the marshmallows didn't seem to have been done right. I recall the one in Baguio used white mallow while this one was brown... shouldn't it be standard? About the place... it's great! Cozy, clean, and well designed.. but then again, it's a B&B so you really can't expect less.

We go swimming at Ponderosa's whenever we visit my Mom and sister. And on our way there we saw this restaurant's signage and the pictures looked enticing. Luckily it was just less than 5 minutes away from Ponderosa's. Staff were very courteous and attentive. Food was good and reasonably priced because of its big serving. Place is cozy. I'd recommend eating here before heading out to Tagaytay. To those looking for this resto, it is right after Ming's garden.

Quirky furnishings, nice staff, wide choices - all make for a pleasant experience in a good location Our party of 10 enjoyed a varied selection comprising Filipino dishes; steak; sate; pizzas and assorted starters. Good well cooked food and mid-priced, with plenty of drink options.Enjoyed pizza for a late lazy lunch the following day too; great cake selection and nice coffees to round out the experience Recommend if youâre visiting the lake and the mountain..
