We love their muffins and pizza! We ate here every night and we were never disappointed. If we have more time in Japan we will stay here again just to relax and have a good meal every night! This place is simply amazing!

This cafe is quite the little find. The decor is full of all manner of old things - ancient Thermos', cameras, camping gear, bikes and plenty more. The owner is a lovely older man who gave us excellent service. The food is...fairly typical of a Japanese cafe. We got the "hot sando" and pizza toast, and both were good, and the coffee was also pretty great. It took a little while, so maybe don't go if you're in a rush. He admired my husband's film camera before he left and we fondly remember him and his cafe after our trip!

Short 1 minute walk from Tazawa station this cafe offers great coffee and is a great place to chill while waiting for your train. Owner speaks good English and is passionate to make her small cafe as cosy as possible. You can charge your photos and devices while having a cuppa so definitely a recommend if you're in that areaThank you for the great feedback. Looking forward to the next opportunity to see you!!!

A great, comfortable restaurant next to the train station. It has a nice menu selection. An English/Japanese/Korean/Chinese menu is available. I had the Akita Kiko Set which included a kiritanpo, a wad of rice on a stick, roasted and dipped in a shoyu miso sauce – delicious. They had a nice breakfast buffet which, in my case, was included with the hotel rate.

I was on my way out of the Lake Tazawako area when I saw this place. Got off the bus and put my name on the signup sheet. Wow, really busy place. No English menu but the friendly, helpful staff helped me with my order. I enjoyed a great lunch today.
