The Greenery is an all-day every day restaurant ideally situated in Malahde, Co. Dublin. The restaurant was founded with a mission to deliver a valued dining experience to all our patrons based on quality and service. All menus reflect a modern and balanc
The service here is dreadful. Nobody knew what was happening and the staff (young) spent most of the time talking at the coffee machine. The cutlery on the table was dirty and sticky and when the glasses arrived they were equally bad. Our coffee arrived with no milk or sugar, when we asked for it, it took so long we went to get it ourself. We were sitting by the kitchen pass and could see all the food waiting to be served so we were not surprised that our order which half was correct was only luke warm. The food was tasty though. The waitress didnât care that the order was incorrect and while replaced it was not apologetic. The staff were setting the other tables for dinner and based on the state of the wine glasses and cutlery weâve decided we will never be returning as everything was filthy.

I am a regular at the café, I'm pleasantly greeted with a smile by all friendly staff and made feel welcome. The food is so fresh and delicious, I really feel like i'm eating good, healthy food. They also have protein pancakes and smoothies which no other café in malahide do fresh fruit smoothies or protein shakes !

Went here for a nice relaxed weekend brunch - wrong. The Swords and Santry Food Parlours are better. Decided to go to Malahide to check it out as we live between all three outlets and had never been to Malahide. We were seated in a corner, with a nice view however we were under a speaker. There was quite loud chatter anyway as there was a baby shower and another large table with about 3 babies. Individually not loud but all together with the awful droning musak noise in the background awful. Could not wait to get out. The food was average, not great, tepid. The fries would have been delicious if they were crispier. Will we be back, no. Would we recommend, no.HI Elaine,Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I apologise if you felt the music was too loud for you to enjoy your meal. May i ask if you mentioned this to your server? As i am sure they would have been more than happy to find you another table. I would love to find out a little more information about our order. We take all complaints personally and can assure you if we new at the time you were unhappy w our staff would have done their utmost to change that.If you could please email me on [email protected], i would be delighted to chat through some of your issues.Warm regards,Eanair

We dropped in to this quite interesting looking pub and restaurant for lunch during a quiet mid week day and to say I will never set foot in the place again is the understatement of the millennium.Every single thing was beyond poor, the rattley uncomfortable chairs should have been a warning sign as to the pure dogs dinner of a dining experience that was to follow. Don't get me wrong, my expectations were set at a very reasonable level as this place was clearly trying to portray a cook stylish jazzy vibe but what we were served up was an absolute shocker,, especially as we waited forever for it to come out of the kitchen. The staffs hearts were just not in it and this must come from the top. To actually think it was ok for us to wait that length of time for food without any update and then the absolute approximately named dogs dinner that was served to us in all its Glory. Absolutely shocked that an apparently viable business could be so bad. Makes me think I could make a go of being a chef myself without a days training. We got soup and wings for starters which we are but we're big standard, inferior to what you could make yourself after a trip to Aldi. For mains we all had a different option, all if which were totally below what you expect to see coming out of a professional kitchen. The Shepard's pie was too bad that I cannot do it justice in words, how they could serve it to a paying customer was a shock to all 3 of us. Then came the fish, which looked like something out of a joke shop as in made of rubber. Then came my pizza which at that stage out appetites were all completely gone and we left. Paying 29 euro for a few cans of coke, bad wings and 2 cold bowls of veg soup. At least in Mountjoy prison you'd probably get hot soup even. We went over to Burdock's across the road and spent 40 euro. That's all you need to know. If you go here after reading this it's your own fault, loads of options in Howth other than a dogs dinner. Fuming I even paid for the starters but I didn't want the staff to get in trouble. As much as it was all poxy including the service, I'm sure such a big problem comes from the top. So just to be clear, avoid!

Seomra Tae , (tea room in Gaelic) looked really inviting, but my visit here had a bad start this drizzly Friday, 10am. Letâs call it a manners issue... On the plus side, there are plenty of copies of todayâs Independent by the door, lots of interesting cook books and a full street view with a cosy, cottage feel to this otherwise lovely café. Ideal for my solo visit. Full breakfastâ¬11. Coffee was good.

Café Provence is very popular with locals for breakfast and at coffee time. There is an extensive menu and pancakes with berries has recently been added. Many locals would rate their full Irish breakfast as the best in the village. There are a few negatives. The tables are very close together with the result that it can be difficult to get to and from your table. It can also be very noisy and people at the next table can hear every word you say. It can also get very warm. The table at the back and the one called the âcosy corner â can be quite dark. There are also tables outside but beside a busy road. The toilet is up a very steep stairs .Overall though worth a visit if you want good food at a reasonable price and you will be in and out fairly quickly. Not a place for a âcatch up â with friends.
