I'm not a great fan of biscuits in general, but the biscuits here are really good! I like the restaurant's atmosphere -- lots of space, nice decor -- but the plastic utensils were surprising. For a brick-and-mortar place that people dine in, there should be regular silverware. Besides seeming tacky, plastic isn't the greatest for cutting meat or buttering biscuits. Otherwise, I thought the food and service were very good and the prices were reasonable for some items, a little high for others.Hi NHjo, We're so glad you enjoyed our food and atmosphere - thanks for the rewiew! You may be interested to know that the reason for our disposable flatware is that we've gone GREEN! After extensive research, we discovered that the most environmentally friendly option for our fast-casual breakfast & lunch environment is compostable serving ware. Everything that goes out to the dining room is compostable, including the flatware, which is corn-based and 100% compostable.Working with a local composting company we're converting 200 lb/week of landfill waste into compost. We conserve over 3200 gallons of water each week, plus the energy it takes to heat all that water. We also keep over 5 gallons of bleach & chemicals out of the water system every week. Fun stop on our way out of Old Orchard Beach. What a wonderful find! The owner was very friendly and attentive and takes great pride in his coffee! Me and my nephew both got the iced coffee-woah!-it will put hair on your chest! Me, my husband and nephew also each got a tasty donut and my son some ice cream-both were very good. My nephew also purchased some videos for us to watch during our upcoming stay at Acadia National Park. On the way out, the owner even gave my nephew some good camping advice too! We will definitely be returning if we're ever in Old Orchard beach again.

This restaurant opened under new management last February, and we happened upon it last June. Had a fantastic home-cooked dinner. Visited Old Orchard again this past weekend and decided to try it again. Fantastic! We both had great meals -- old-fashioned pot roast with baby carrots and mashed potatoes -- tender meat, flavorful gravy, just delicious all around.......and a gourmet treat -- shepherd's pie with squash topping instead of potatoes -- tasted like a gourmet meal from the Old Port in Portland. Finished it off with blueberry bread pudding with bourbon sauce. What a meal.....for about $25 all-told. This is a place not to miss.

Even though we live close by, we hadnât noticed Bulldog Café until a couple of months ago (itâs located in the unassuming Family Dollar Plaza). But weâve eaten there about ten times already! The food is fresh and delicious, the portions are very hearty (often enough for two to share), and the prices are extremely reasonable.The menu features both hot and cold sandwiches and wraps, lobster rolls, burgers, hot dogs, soups, salads, and desserts. There is good variety in the menu, but in addition daily specials are also on offer. Some of our favorites among these are the chicken croquettes with mashed potatoes (the ultimate comfort food), the grilled meatball and cheese sandwich (decadently delectable), and pulled pork. They also serve breakfast items, but we havenât tried those yet. The cheerful, clean interior has several booths and tables if you wish to dine in. Another major plus is the large parking lot with free parking â something quite difficult to come by in Old Orchard Beach, especially during the summer. So itâs easy to drop by and give this excellent little café a try.

We had just arrived at OOB and were looking for a quick bite to take back to our rental cottage. We were able to walk to Sheila's and are we glad we did! I got a lobster roll for my wife (she likes them more than I do) and she was thrilled 'cuz it was packed with meat. I ordered a reuben (that's what I like!), it was just as I expected, meaty, with sauerkraut, on rye). Their kitchen offers other kinds of sandwiches to boot. The place is small, definitely take-out only, but they have room for plenty of chilled wine bottles, beer, ice cream, snacks, beach toys and other stuff. As other reviewers have said, the staff is super-friendly. We went back later in the week to get another lobster roll and were not disappointed.

Tourist Trap. If it says, "Mainely" Lobster on the sandwich board, ask to see how much lobster you'll be getting with your order.You ordered a lobster flatbread and a lobster BLT, both of those items hold 2oz of lobster my lobster roll holds 4oz. But I see we grew a star since your 2 star review on yelp so not sure what that means. Let me ask you what is the cost of a FRESH lobster roll in Connecticut? 30 dollars?? Yet you expect 12 to 14 dollars is going to get you a pile of lobster, your wrong.I will be seeing you soon on google as that is the only site left for you to leave us a bad review.

My family had breakfast there on 7/12/19 and it was absolutely delicious and had great menu choices. There was something for everyone. Even the Blueberry muffins (we ordered one to go) were better than all of the bakerys that are making a good living selling muffins. I asked and they make their own. It is also very cute inside-I can't wait to go back next year and eat there again.
