Unlike many of the islands in the archipelago, Norrtälje is an attractive year-round destination. With a variety of quaint shops, art museums and galleries, cafés, and some small live music venues, this island is definitely worth a visit. The yearly “Jazz Days” festival gives the island a charming flair and offers travelers the opportunity to really enjoy the Swedish summer sun. Fly fishing is also popular on the island, while there are a few stores that sell bait and tackle. Hostels are open all year, a bonus for those on a budget. Buses run frequently from Stockholm to Norrtälje.

This cafe used to be called Landkrabban but has since gone through a change of name and management. Unfortunately, the quality seems to have changed for the worse. Friendly but very slow service. I got the Caesar salad which was overpriced and didn't taste good at all.

Inget hemgjort. Kanske ett ställe jag längtar tillbaka till. Inte hemlagat, utan mikrovärmt. Trist och trångt om man inte är där sommartid och kan sitta ute.

När du ser detta bageri, sÃ¥ vill du tycka om det. SÃ¥ kul och trevligt med ett bageri att handla hos. Tyvärr blir vi nästan alltid besvikna. Det saknas nästan alltid bullar och annat att handla. Ofta är det heller inte heller nÃ¥got utöver genomsnitt. Pizzabitarna är smÃ¥ och smaklösa. Bullarna och baguette godkända. Det konstigaste är ändÃ¥ att det nästan varje gÃ¥ng saknas fikabröd att handla. Sist vi var där vid kl 12 fanns INGET fikabröd och besvikna kunder fick (som ofta) vända i dörren. Ãnskar sÃ¥ att detta ställe vore bättre!

Very nice design, great pace to sit inside and read. Fancy lemonades and the usual coffee house bakery selection. Friendly service. But - Coffee was a joke. They mixed up orders a bit and I had to remind them of a few things, OK this can happen if you have 2 people to process 2 orders at the same time, but more important - their coffee was a joke. Had double shot Cappucho and I got a super large (too large) mug that obly tasted like warm milk, not even hot, almost no foam and worse: didnt taste like coffee at all and if you order double shot youd expect it the other way...

Wether you come for lunch or just coffee the food/pastries are amazing. Had my daughters birthdaycake specially made here, and what a success!! Really nice staff and homey feeling. Best for take away, but they have another affiliate (Café Hörnan) that offers all you want for a coffeehouse!
