Where to eat Pub food in Cavan: The Best Restaurants and Bars
My husband and I had tea and scones in this little restaurant today and it was just excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient, the scones were home cooked and tasted delicious. It was a great find and we'll definitely return for a more substantial meal the next time we're in Cavan. Thanks to all concerned.

Under new management for about a year now, this coffee shop offers excellent breakfasts and limited but very fine lunch seletions. Magda and Magella are welcoming staff; the premises and restroom are always in good order; the pricing is more than fair.

My wife and I call in here regularly when shopping in Cavan town. There is a great selection of food from snacks to more substantial meals. They serve everything from an all day breakfast to the seriously health conscience low fat meals beloved by my better half. The coffee is great and even if you're only having a chocolate muffin they serve it warm. Nice touch. There is free Wi-Fi throughout and the upstairs part is nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend. If you can, sit by an upstairs window and watch the shoppers below as you sip a lovely mocha
Visited with two adults and two children under ten, both adults had goats cheese salad and both kids had wraps. Traveling around Cavan and eating on the go for a week now and this was the highlight. The food was so fresh, so well presented and just 5* quality. The service was timely and polite, the space is limited but does not take away from the experience. The decor is simple and clean. The price was absolutely spot on. I have eaten in many places in the last week and canât remember the names of those places, this was the exception. Thank you so much for lovely review Eamonn!!

We were on our way to Donegal so we stopped for some lunch here after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. What a disappointment. The decor was awful. It was like a greasy spoon really. The food was alright in fairness. But very basic. The toilets were very rough and ready. It was not cheap either. Definitely we wont be back. The reviews were vert misleading in this case
