Many tourists know Windsor for its casino. But if you dig a little deeper, you’ll find fascinating history here. Once an important stop on the Underground Railroad, Windsor became an important center of whisky production and, thus, a major smuggling port during Prohibition. (Apparently Al Capone liked his Canadian Club.) In summer, catch the enormous fireworks display at the International Freedom Festival.

BREW is a true microbrewery, and our primary product is Brew Proper Lager, which was created to be flavourful but most importantly smooth. We measure all of our products on a “drinkability” ratio, and always welcome taste testers to give us their rating. With an on site kitchen and licensed tap room, feel free to come in to grab a bite, a brew and even more brew to go. Keep an eye out for Brew at locations around Windsor and Essex county.

Stopped in here for a couple rounds before dinner and really enjoyed it. Both of us got flights and from the ipas to the stouts the beers were very good. Lots of interesting varieties also. Did not try any food so the review is solely based on the beer.
