At the end of the 19th century, the Ardèche Railway Company built a single-track railway line to open up the Boutières region and transport local products. Today, the rail route has been transformed into a gentle picturesque path, ideal for walking, cycling and horse-riding. The Dolce Via follows the river through the Eyrieux and Doux valleys, offering spectacular views over the surrounding landscape.
