A day trip to Patara, a few miles farther west from Kalkan, offers the chance to combine horseback riding, history and sand surfing. Once an important Lycian port town, legend has it that Patara is the birthplace of Apollo and with certainty it’s the birthplace of St. Nicholas. Horseback riding for riders of all ages and capabilities is available for rides along the 22 kilometers of white beaches. And so is sand surfing.

We have a property that has few rooms in order to create a family atmosphere. We offer cheap and luxurious accommodations in the center of Patara. All rooms refurbished recently. Every room has air conditioner, bathroom, balcony, etc. and we also offer free services like beach service, laundry service and more. In conclusion we offer accommodation as big hotels but for less people.
We stayed here 3 nights as part of our Lucian Way walking holiday. It’s been our favourite place to stay so far and has definitely had the best food. It’s a family run hotel and restaurant and the family are very friendly and helpful. It seems like it’s the most popular restaurant in the town and that’s understandable as every meal we have had here has been delicious. The room was spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and there is a small fridge in the room, tv and balcony. The hotel also has a pool. Highly recommend staying here.

Friendly family atmosphere. 1 minute walk to centre of Patara with its bars, restaurants and shops. Short ride to environmentally protected Patara beach, turtle breeding ground and the longest sandy beach in the Mediterranean. Close to classical ruins and on the Lycian Way.
Came all the way from Australia and had sent emails and made prior reservations and then made more phone calls to confirm. On arrival we were sent across the road to another pension because our room was 'overbooked'. We were asked to wait till another room was vacated. Met 2 other travellers given same story. So we left and found another place down the road. considering how far we had come and that we had checked with them more than once that our booking was held, this is unacceptable. And the place we found was a little dearer, but much cleaner and well presented.

On a Hillside with a wonderful view of Patara Village and the sea. It has a large garden, a large swimmingpool, restaurant-bar and a tennis court. The hotel invites his guests to relax and enjoy natural surroundings whilst swimming in the pool with a spectacular view of the sea and the mountains. All rooms have Airconditioner and Bath with shover and WC.
Clean and spacious rooms with a view over the lovely pool area. Very peaceful, with charming and welcoming hosts - and friendly dogs. The only slight issue was that my car wouldn't go up the gravelly slope to the hotel, but there was easy parking very nearby.

Nice Hotel under new management. Rooms are functional: good (new) mattresses, aircon, TV, (quiet) fridge and curtains that actually keep the light out. The big selling point of this hotel is the location (quiet and in the middle of nature), the big pool and the wonderful view. Beautiful Patara beach is a 35 minute hike (saves you the entrance fee). Breakfast is nice and there is an optional home cooked dinner which was very delicious and cheap. Good for people who like the outdoors.
