With all the laidback charm of a true Cotswolds country pub, at the Horse and Groom we pride ourselves on our friendly service, award-winning food and drink and sumptuous B&B accommodation in individually styled bedrooms. Located in the heart of Bourton on the Hill, here you can retreat for a leisurely meal, stop by for a drink and stay over for a relaxing break. Our light and airy bar is well stocked with real ales and wines and the beautifully restored dining room, with its log fire blazing in the winter makes a welcoming setting in which to enjoy our exquisite classic British cuisine with a modern twist.
Lovely setting, dog friendly, with car park and plenty of tables available inside and outside - not very busy at all for a bank holiday lunchtime. We were told off for sitting at a table that was apparently for drinks only, not diners - even though everyone else was clearly dining on said tables. Very odd. Very small and unimaginative menu (steak, burger, fish and chips, two different pies in summer). Ordered the steak but it wasn’t available. Fish and chips was tiny. Our very small order of one main, one starter as a main, and one plate of nibbles took an incredibly long time to come. I had ordered a starter because I didn’t fancy anything on the menu, and because I wanted room for a pudding. But in the end, we didn’t want to continue to wait after our food as we’d already waiting a very long time for mains, so decided to go home instead of having puddings. The service - wow! So rude! We asked the waiter if someone could please clear the table of the previous guests’ glasses and napkins, he didn’t say anything, just looked very annoyed, grabbed it all up quickly, spilling water all over the table! Didn’t bother wiping it up! More worryingly, he didn’t even bother spraying and cleaning the table at all between guests! Awful hygiene. Not impressed at all, won’t be coming back. Such a waste of a beautiful setting.

Didn't stay in the hotel, but stopped in for a refreshing drink after a long country hike. The building is charmingly old-school, with lots of higgledy-piggledy rooms at varying heights. The bar area was deserted when we arrived, but we quickly found the manager at the front desk and he served us drinks promptly, then guided us to a delightful little garden seating area to enjoy them. Drinks were excellent, perfectly chilled ciders just the job after our exertions. Menu of Sri Lankan food sounded interesting, but sadly we had other plans.

The Swan Inn is family run, we are open all day for food, our food is homemade and as far as possible locally sourced. We have undertaken a refurbishment program and all our 8 rooms are en suite with showers. We are located within the heart of the town at the junction of the Stow on the Wold (A429) and the Bourton road (A44).
Can only comment on the food, we didn't stay there. The meals at lunchtime were brilliant and the price was really good. £27 for our lunches, plus drinks and it was excellent. Friendly service too. Thank you.

Beautiful rooms in the Center of Morton in marsh Cotswolds
Had a take away for two people just over 2 hours ago.Love Thai food but this was RUBBISH. The beef used was of very low quality. Dont waste youre money. Salt n pepper squid over cooked, massaman beef x 2 awfull sliced cheap beef. Jasmine rice ok. £35.00 better spent on saving the children fund.

Considered by many to be Tolkeins inspiration for the "Prancing Pony" in Lord of the rings, the Bell Inn is a fine example of a traditional coaching Inn set in the historic Cotswolds. Having been taken over in June 2015, the pub and guest rooms are in safe hands and offer great service and quality accommodation. The pub offers meals a great selection of food, including lunches and evening meals which compliment the wide range of drinks including a selection of real ales. On a sunny day why not sit in the beer garden and soak up the sunshine in peaceful surroundings.
We both had a great weekend stay at the bell. The staff and manager were so helpful and polite , really welcoming . The room was fantastic and as described before we booked . Entertainment was really good and this establishment felt the the focal point to f the town. Breakfast was delicious and the service personal and friendly. Not forgetting Finlay the dog :) The only niggle was the heating. Every time we wanted the heating on we had to ask the bar to switch it on. Small point. But otherwise amazing stay.

An 18th Century former Post Office, much extended and sympathetically restored in 2007, The Old Post Office is a luxurious and peaceful home, nestled in the enchanting and peaceful village of Adlestrop, set in the heart of the North Cotswolds and long famous for Edward Thomas’ poem. With its two beautifully appointed and luxuriously comfortable bedrooms, The Old Post Office offers luxury bed & breakfast for a large part of the year.
We have had a 4 night break here at the old post office Adlestrop. We were welcomed with a lovely pot of tea and cake in the garden. Chris and Nicola were great hosts always taking time to chat to us. We had a very warm welcome from their 3 gorgeous dogs too. Nicola has an extremely kind heart and goes above and beyond to please her guests, a wonderful breakfast and a beautiful room with a lovely cosy feel, we had the room with the separate bathroom but it was right next to our room which was absolutely fine. Made some lovely friend with the other guests too. Perfect house, perfect hosts, perfect break away. We will definitely return. Wendy and Steve
