The worst "hotel" in my life
Reviewed By Christina GWe booked the hotel last minute and when we arrived we had to wait over 10 minutes the boss to come and give us the keys. For a good luck we booked the hotel only for two nights. The room is small and the acoustic is really bad. On the first night someone from the neighbour room was vomiting the whole night and we couldn't sleep. The second night was the highlight.. We saw during the evening that there is an event on the restaurant of the "hotel". We came back around 10 pm in order to sleep but at that time was when the party started.. The dj turned on the volume of the music even louder after 12 am which is something not allowed at all. In addition guests from the party where sitting on the reception area -corridor where "smoking is not allowed" and smoking, laughing, singing and screaming. The smoke coming inside the room was so terrible that I had to open the window two times during the night. The party ended at 3:30am. During our check out the next day the boss was not there and I complained about the party requesting a refund to the employee. I'm still waiting this refund..... Unacceptable to organise such a party and having guests paying to sleep.. After these two sleepless nights we had to drive over 700km.. thanks Voilis Hotel..

Absolutely disgusting! Avoid!
Reviewed By santoshLondonI stayed in this establishment twice at the beginning and end of a rail holiday to Spain from London. On my outward journey on 18th January I was allocated Room 16 which had no working heating despite the outside temperature being -3c. I went to bed wearing my overcoat and woolly hat. After numerous reguests for a working heater a member of staff eventually brought one to my room at 1-30am. Having already booked to stay here on my return on 26th January I foolishly gave them the benefit of the doubt. This time I was allocated Room 3. The en-suite facility appeared to have no light, there was no seat on the toilet and I couldn't locate the flush. There were also pipes sticking out the wall. Although I requested a no smoking room the room stank of cigarette smoke and there was an ashtray provided. The hotel says there are no smoking rooms available but I was not given one. I got no satisfactory response from the man in the bar who was on duty apart from a shrug of the shoulders. I could not possibly stay in this disgusting room and booked into another hotel in Montpellier. In conversations with the hotel since through Booking.Com I have been told I am not entitled to a refund having already paid in advance. Scandalous!

Reviewed By Les_ElaineI know that this hotel is basic and the rooms are a bit small but we can only rate it against our expectations, and they were low. We had read about the hotel before we booked so it wasn't a shock. We were probably fortunate that we had room 7 which looked the largest and had a balcony overlooking the square. The build quality and decorating was dire to say the least, the toiletries were two small bars of soap and although I read that there were hairdriers so I talked my wife into not taking one, there wasn't one, trouble!! However, it was clean, the small double bed was quite comfy and the shower was brilliant, for us the three main criteria. Last of all we loved the location. Short walk to beach, loads of walks and restaurants on your doorstep. Breakfast was just ok. All in all, we were happy with our choice, many thanks to the friendly staff.
