Top 7 Beaches in Isle of Arran, Scotland

October 10, 2021 Sheron Bogner

Packed to the gills with antique silver, porcelain and furniture, the red sandstone Brodick Castle is one of the highlights of the Isle of Arran. The castle overlooks Goatfell, a majestic hill that’s a popular day hike. The Machrie Moor stone circles make for a mystical field trip, as does a tour of The Arran Malt whisky distillery.

This place is really pretty and you can see wild seals sat on the rocks when the tide comes in. Added this place to TripAdvisor as it is a must see

Kildonan beach

Reviewed By johnhouston2 - Knaresborough, United Kingdom

This is a lovely beach with convenient parking and easy access. At first we just stood at the top and took in the superb views of the sea and Ailsa Craig, then we went further along and had the pleasure of seeing lots of seals basking in the sunshine (in mid-November!) on the rocks. This is one of those lovely places where you can simply sit a while and enjoy the peaceful ambience, or go for a pleasant stroll. Loved it!
