Well, what can you say? Lockdown has provided the Craigs (Landlords) with the chance to spruce the place up. Tom & Vikki have achieved a minor miracle with the loos! Blimey, like going into a Marriott hotel bog.... mind you, I kinda miss the old intimacy it had before...... and the smell. Still the best pub in Herts, hands down, despite the new tartan curtains. Beer is outstandingly good quality and always a good choice of Inde real ales, along with a cider or two. Oh, and the car park is less Himalayan. As they say, all things must change but, thank goodness, only for the better at this gem of a treasured hostelry. Well done guys :-)

What a great find just opposite the Galleria. A modern clean and interesting bar / restaurant. Food was delicious and service fantastic. Wherever possible I start my visit to a new town at Wetherspoons. You know exactly what you’re going to get for breakfast and the history and photographs in the information panels are interesting and really well presented. 10/10 for friendly welcoming staff. If you can grab one of the three booths made out of jumbo jet engine cowlings even better

The Forum Hertfordshire opened its doors in 2009 following a complete redevelopment. With a capacity of 2,250, it is a sophisticated venue with three state-of-the-art entertainment spaces, a restaurant, a cafe, multiple bars and onsite parking for 400. Located only 35 minutes from London, it has played host to some of the biggest nights out in Hertfordshire, with live performances from international musicians.
