houston has several very good bbq restaurants and i just visited the newest addition to great texas bbq. THE BRISKET HOUSE was a very clean and spacious restaurant with dine in and take out service. they provide several big screen t.v.s for sports fans with an outdoors like atmosphere. the food was very good as were the portions. their pricing falls somewhere between two other notable bbq places but it was the quality of the food and the portions that made a hit for me. easy to find on what most people call f m 1960, strongly suggest you check it out if you want to try somebody new.

We've been eating here ever since it opened its doors in The Woodlands. This is our meat-loving family's favorite spot for celebrations and special occasions! We always try to go early in the day, preferably 1st seating, so that the wait staff are just starting their day and things are not as hectic. The restaurant can get packed pretty quickly, especially on holidays like Easter, Mother's Day, etc., so it's usually much calmer around opening time. There are tons of options for everyone, even vegetarians! The salad bar is always fresh and the offerings are quickly replenished when they run out. If you have a preference for a particular type of meat, you don't have to wait for a server bringing that cut to come around, you can just request it directly from your server. My son and I love the plantains, so we always ask for just the plantains, no fries. The waitstaff is always available, attentive, and ready to respond to your needs. Come hungry and eager to sample everything, eat at a comfortable pace, and enjoy!

I have visited the Spring Creek restaurants in several locations around Houston, but mostly the location on Cypress Creek Parkway (FM1960) near Veterans Memorial. The meats are delicious, and they offer a variety of sides to accompany them; some better than others. Pros: Friendly staffCons: Surprisingly, the Mac and cheese is simply not tasty at all. It is bland and non-cheesy which is weird as it is Mac and CHEESE. The prices have increased to the point of being non-competitive and they donât bring the fresh baked rolls around anywhere as often as they did when the place first opened.

Checked this place out after watching Triple D on the TV.Ordered the loaded fries and crab & brisket pocket (see pics) as shown on Triple D. Both were absolutely superb and lived up to Guy Fieriâs reviews. Will definitely be back when next in the area.

Great atmosphere for both friends and families, awesome BBQ and staff. Fun vibe, beer and great outdoor seating both covered porch, canopies and out in the sun. Spacious indoor seating as well.
This is absolutely the BEST BBQ we have ever had! The flavor and tenderness is unsurpassed! My favorite is the Baked Potato with chopped brisket on top! The sliced brisket and sausage are yummy too! Come early to avoid long lines - sometimes they run out by 2pm but coming around then can help with the lines too. Love this place and stop every time we come to Houston!
