Semmes (pronounced /sɛmz/, locally /sɪmz/) is a town in western Mobile County, Alabama, in the Mobile metropolitan statistical area. Formerly an unincorporated community, voters in Semmes approved incorporation of a part of the community as the city of Semmes on August 17, 2010. After a statutory enumeration, or census, the town was officially declared incorporated on May 2, 2011, by Mobile County Probate Judge Don Davis. The statutory census indicated that the town has a population of 2,897 people. It covers 2,100 acres (850 ha). The current Mayor is David Baker. He is the 2nd Mayor of the city, succeeding Judy Hale.

I've written corporate 2 times the past couple of weeks about this and they still haven't responded. I found several pieces of plastic wrap and metal(aluminum foil) under my brisket. it's a shame because staff was nice and food is good but not good enough to ignore not just one piece but six pieces of foreign objects in my food. see pictures

Our first visit here and it was delicious! I had the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and my husband had ribs and their homemade sausage. It was very good I just with they had an assortment of sauces to choose from because they only have 1 and itâs spicy, very good just too spicy for a child in my opinion. Service was great and we loved the bread and sauce they bring our before your meal.

Found this barbecue place online it had good reviews so we decided to try it. It was really good even though the buffet small, they have everything that you need. Dry rub ribs, wet ribs, several different types of chicken, lots of vegetables and good desserts. My favorite was the cabbage and collard greens. My husband loved the banana pudding. Next time we're through here will be stopping again.

Stopped by the restaurant and got takeout. Small dining area, but the food was really good! The Gumbo was the big surprise, it was awesome. The only thing I would change is to offer a smaller portion. The smallest was $10 and was more than I could eat!

Newly redecorated I was a little disappointed with the salad bar, some of the places are no longer reachable so don't expect Spanish olives and a few other items anymore. Now for the positives - a great newly updated seating area; very welcoming. The same great selections and service that appeals to all levels of heat. Pulled pork and chicken and baby back ribs are special here and go very well with their garlic bread. It's a great place to kick back with another couple since it's not especially set up for large groups.

Waitress promptly got drinks and took our food order. The pulled pork salad was covered with cheese even though it was specifically ordered without cheese. Dinner roll instead of cornbread. The next time we saw waitress was when she tossed bill on table and left in a hurry. Pulled pork was OK. Beans a little too sweet for my taste.
