A wonderful Sunday afternoon was spent at this stunningly-set cigar lounged theme bar, with its quirky hints of steampunk - decored walls and swanky Chesterfield leather couches.Styled with the air of a gentleman's lounge and a well-stocked bar, one wouldn't ordinarily bring ones' kids here, but we decided to bring ours since it was dad's birthday. All needs were happily met once we ordered the signature buttermilk waffles, one topped with Bar One Sauce and ice cream, and the other with mixed berries and ice-cream. These were quickly quaffed down before our leisurely 2nd bottle of chilled Chenin was ordered. We ordered some of the tapas and bar snacks to accompany our drinks, a great variety of flavored Olives, spicy peanuts, a cheese platter, as well as an assortment of beautifully crisp spring rolls with wonderfully assembled flavors. The rest of the menu include tasty toasties, burgers with zucchini fries, as well as lettuce wraps for the carb-conscious.Outdoor seating on the balcony is also available where a live band, Letters from Jane, plays every Sunday afternoon. With the Live music filtering through the lounge, the scene was perfectly set for a lovely serene Sunday afternoon spent with an intimate group of friends. Outdoor seating on the balcony is also available.

Spoil your family & eat out at Silver Cloud Spur. We are the best steakhouse & burger restaurant in Port Elizabeth. Bring along your kids for some great tasting food & dessert from our famous Spur menu.
Efficient management, well-trained and pleasant staff and competent grill hands made this breakfast experience a pleasure. The standard "unreal" breakfast is prepared to perfection... the eggs done precisely to our liking, and this is not a comment based on a one-off experience, but is the reason why we choose to visit this particular branch of Spur if we can. Waiting time today was minimal, as when we arrived the place was buzzing so we were prepared for a lengthy wait. That was not to be as we didn't wait long for our meal. ImpressedHello Jilldutoit,Thank you for your great review of Silver Cloud Spur family restaurant. We are delighted that you enjoyed the service and breakfast. We hope to see you again, soon.Warm regards, Spur Family

Red Rock Spur at The Boardwalk Casino is a family-friendly restaurant that serves the best ribs, burgers & steaks. Bring along your kids for some great tasting food & dessert from our famous Spur menu!
This is part of the Sun Complex close to the waterfront. There is a good choice of steaks and other grills as well as a range of different dishes. The service is very friendly and prompt and the portions are generous. The menu had excellent prices with a good wine list also at low prices. The 200g fillet steak with salad was very good and the whole bill was R1080 for 4 steaks, 2 bottles of wine and 2 double measures of Bains whisky. Bargain at less than £20 a head including 10% tip. The waitress was a delight and very helpful and the manager was attentive to our needs, he also was very " hands on " when he could help out the rest of the staff. This was our only night in Port Elizabeth and is was a brilliant start to our touring holiday.Dear whetstoneview,Thank you so much for your great review! We're thrilled to read that the food & service was a hit.We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards,Spur Steak Ranches

The food is delicious and fair priced but the service is not up to standard. We had to wait a while at the door to be seated and for the waitress to come to the table. I will always go back for the great food but I wish the service was as excellent as the food for a complete dining experience.

Argentinian steakhouse with an South African flair, matured grass fed beef grilled to your preference. Suburb service and with no corkage you can enjoy your favorite wine at no extra cost.
This restaurant never sees to fail when it comes to quality service, atmosphere and food. Recently visited once again, and now even more impressed . I would certainly rate this restaurant THE BEST PE HAS TO OFFER WHEN IT COMES TO STEAK. Although the menu is small and limited, i can guarantee that your tastebuds will explode in pleasure as the steaks are made from the heart. For starter lovers, the flamed chorizo is a must try. It is an out of this world experience overallThis is my no1 stop when dining outGood day,Thank you once again for your wonderful review. I'm really glad you enjoyed our hospitality. Always a pleasure welcoming you back.Regards Louis Barkhuizen

This is fast-becoming one of PE's well-known culinary institutions as it is very popular amongst the locals and foreigners alike.Close to our Sports Stadium, it equally exudes a festive flair amongst diners sharing rustic wooden tables and benches, with a self-service bar and a freezer full of ice.The authentic Portuguese flavors are evident in all their dishes, with the 3 main dishes being their rather pricey prawns (at R35 each), as well as their very tasty peri peri chicken and (not-to-be-missed and more reasonably-priced) ribs. These can all be served with a large portion of hand-cut crispy fries, a Portuguese salad, and Portuguese rolls. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves for the evening, and get messy with the finger-licking flavors of Portugal!

Wood-Fire kitchen Steakhouse
Went here for my Sister in Laws birthday. My Wife had the steak, but she thought was a bit tough, while I had the Kudu steak, which was to die for. The owners are very attentive to your table. Overall, nest time I'm in PE, I want to go back for the Kudu steak.....Many thanks for the review Martin
