Fabulous welcome from Antonio, who looked after us so well. We enjoyed an entree platter, an antipasto platter, and a fresh seafood & pasta platter, accompanied by a bottle of his own white wine! All delicious and beautifully presented & served with a proud flourish by Antonio. There was a wide selection of fabulous desserts to choose from....I went for chocolate and my husband for a custard style slice. Yummy, both!Then Antonio placed many liqueur bottles on our table from which we were free to serve ourselves! I loved the the aniseed and my husband the limoncello! Very reasonably priced at 50â¬. I can highly recommend you visit Antonio

I have come here on several occasions and the food is excellent and is always a good meal. It is right by the Pompei Central station and the center of town .The steaks are excellent and high quality meats. I have had their pizza which is also amazingly scrumptious. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice on not so hot days to be outside with a little breeze.Service is excellent. I would say it is one of the best restaurants in Pompei I have eaten at.So if you are in the area come to this restaurant if you want a good meal .Dear Melissa,thanks for choosing us. We found this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to walk there which was, admittedly, a trek up a steep hill to get there. When we arrived we were given a very warm weclome and shown to our table on the terrace with a view that was jaw-dropping in its scope and beauty that gives you a view of vesuvius and castellemare bay. perfect.We asked for the house wine, red, which was home made, smooth and so delicious.The antipasti was a food-gasm by itself with so much to sample and we chose a pasta main course which left us speechless and mopping the plates of any remaining sauce.Dessert was again home made with all fresh ingredients accompanied by a perfect digestive drink.The hospitality was absolutely and unexpectedly warm and friendly, and they allow you to have your meal in peace and at leisure, and the final cost was easily acceptable.I cannot believe that anyone would critisize this place for sheer quality and quantity of everything, and i have to say -there is nothing oily or greasy here at all whatsoever. We ate here twice already and we will be back again before our weeks holiday is finished. Outstanding restaurant in everyway. Well done

Dinner at Villa Palmentiello was an unforgettable experience. The first words of appreciation go to the Maître de Salle. Kind, friendly and knowledgeable! Well beyond knowledge. Putting passion, pleasure, heart and soul into his métier. The food was fabulous, presented to the most accurate detail and, as the dishes would come to the table, the Maître de Salle would be there, explaining the dish and giving suggestions.The wine and many of the products used in the preparation of the meal were produced locally, at the property, as this is an "agriturismo". The supporting staff were very professional and efficient, attentive to our needs and committed to making the evening a very special occasion.The view is fantastic. Our thanks and congratulations to the Maître de Salle, the Chef and the supporting staff for this unforgettable evening. Highly recommended!
