I'd have liked to given this place a higher rating, as their sauce is killer, and they had great beans....but....I ordered the "rib" sandwich which consisted of 3 bone-in ribs between two pieces of generic white bread, and a SMALL side of pretty damn good beans....but for over $10, not worth it. First off, how do you eat a "rib sandwich" when you gotta tear it apart, cause the meat still has the bones on them? Then, please....2 pieces of generic white bread....the least this could have been grilled.....I'd think Texas Toast would do great. Should have had the pulled pork....better yet, just get a side of it to go and make my sandwich at home they way I'd want it. $20 would buy an electric griddle so they could grill the bread.....I had a sample of the coleslaw as I was told it had "pineapple, mandarin oranges, and blue cheese in it"....well, other than the sweet taste and visable flecks of oranges, that was it....I understand many people have made the comment that they should at least have grilled the bread, but the owner want's it "his way". I don't think this place is gonna last long.

Arrived here for an early dinner(4pm) with 2 friends and we were seated immediatelySharniece was a super server! My friends recommended the baby back ribs, so I ordered a half rack which was served with two sides and garlic toast ($11.99). OMG - the lima beans were really very good! A nice change! Half rack was plenty! Thanks much! Looks like you love Texas or are from Texas. I grew up in Vernon (50 miles west of Wichita Falls). Iâll pat Sharnice on the back and Iâll let Chef Sammy know that you love his Lima beans. Heâs been making them for Oakwood for 21 years.

Stopped in on my way home to find a Competition BBQ Pitmaster John Dance almost sold out of Q for the day. He had ribs and baked beans. The color was nice and they were not fall off the bone you have to tug the meat off with your teeth. The smoke is deep in the meat and the moist flavor fills your mouth. They provided a couple of sauces and the sweet was fine. These Lexington Kentucky transplants to Florida have the BBQ of my youth down pat. The place is nice and buffet line a real future lunch draw. John said for ribs stop bye Wednesday thru Friday around the noon hour when he first takes them off the smoker for super fresh grub. If you let them rest to dinner time you should have a championship rack in your frig. I cannot wait to try the sausage and chicken.

Have driven right by it several times. It wasn't until a friend had mentioned if you want real bar-b-que then IBar-B-Que is the place. They really smoke their meat, family owned (I believe), nice portions, plenty of side selections especially if you like Southern cooking, and friendly service. Nothing fancy about the place but dine in or carry out and enjoy real smoked bar-b-que. Brisket sandwich $9.99 comes with a packed full of brisket on a bun and one side. Dinner two meat combo, 2 sides and cord bread. Baked beans were very good as was the corn bread. price = $13.99. Got there on a Friday at noon and actually got a seat. Small parking lot.

My family and I eat here as often as we can! The variety of meats all have a great smoky flavor. For most you choose the sauce you want. The baby-back ribs already have the most amazing rib sauce on them and the meat literally falls off the bone! The burgers are great, as well as are all of their home-style sides. The servers are fast and friendly, our favorite is Michele. She really makes us feel welcome, and our orders are always correct!
