For a bar and grill type of place lots of selection of good food. We had three different burgers at the table and everyone liked what they picked. I had the chicken and waffles which was also good to great. They have a good twist on this dish. They serve it as a sandwich with a chicken patty as the meat with Swiss cheese and a raspberry jam. It really is a good combination, I know for some it sounds odd but give it a try. They have an extensive beer list and a whiskey menu to brag about and they do. I ordered a specialty whiskey drink just to be different. I ordered a "Scofflaw" it was okay, a little sweet for my taste. Also, I think they only brought me half the drink. It was served in martini glass but it was barely half full and with the shape of that kind of glass half full is really about 30% or so. I felt a cheated. The service was okay to poor. Our server was slow and only able to do one simple thing at a time. Disappearing for long periods of time. I was pleasantly surprised when we finally got our food it was hot and fresh at least.Overall I would eat here again but it would have to get better service to get a third visit. The pricing is a little on the high side for this type of establishment so I expected more.

Spotted this place in shopping center at the corner of Tramway and Central when shopping at Sprouts and came back the next day for lunch. Picture of the food section of menu is posted; good panini and charcuterie. Beer cheese dip is good, too. Nice place to stop for lunch when the weather is good; about a half dozen tables outside to sit at. There’s indoor seating as well, but it looked dark and the weather was great.

Amazing that more folks don’t review this excellent place for salads and outstanding food. Today my nephew and I visited and we agreed this place has great food, beer and we couldn’t have asked for a better server/bartender, think her name might have been Tammie or Sammy. She provided us with great service with a warm kind smile. We look forward to returning very soon.. Thank You Canteen Taproom!

Just off the main road, this local brewery produces some surprisingly tasteful brews. Really friendly staff, awesome nachos, very good beer, make this a destination brewery when you’re in Albuquerque or are driving the turquoise trail!

Though I've eaten here before and haven't always been thrilled with my selection, a huge group of us were there last Thursday and this time I tried one of their burgers. It was tender, juicy, succulent, and cooked perfectly. I had blue cheese and bacon on mine and I can honestly say that the only thing I might have added, but they don't offer, is maybe some garlic aioli. We will definitely be going there again for a burger very soon! The service was excellent, especially considering there were about 35 or more of us that day!
