Well, my neighbors wanted to take me out to dinner so we went to Chili's. I hadn't been here in quite a while as I really don't like going out to dinner much. The restaurant was updated with new decor & there were some new touch screen computers at the table that you could order items & pay your bill with....interesting. I ordered a Mai Tai from our waitress & asked if the bartender made a good one...she said yep. So Mai Tai arrives....funny looking color...hummm not what a Mai Tai is suppose to look like. So I tried it...YUCK! Not even close to a good Mai Tai. Asked the waitress if I could order another drink as the bartender didnt know how to make a good one. Ordered my new drink...waitress came back...out of Malibu Rum....Really??? Order a Jack & sprite next....that came to the table tasting normal...Wow....now I know why I don't like to go out. ....On the plus side the food I ordered to eat was good...no complaints. We're sorry to hear about your recent experience at Chili's. Please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can get some more details and get in touch with you.

Cronies is a great big Sport's Bar and restaurant in Simi Valley. There are at least 18 different televisions all around the restaurant so you will not miss your favorite event. The food here is not gourmet, but the servings are good sized and the service is friendly. We had a a number of dishes that were good. I had a hamburger and fries, curly ones. See attached pics. Seating is plentiful and the bar is hopping during sporting events. This is a blue collar dining and drinking establishment. I really enjoyed it!

This is a GREAT sports bar! There's a large bar area in the center of the place but there's plenty of tables and booths surrounding the bar. I've been here for both football and baseball games and each time the service and food has been consistently good. Lots of TVs so you can watch the game from any seat at a table or booth. There's a great beer selection and happy hour menu. It's a neighborhood vibe and filled with respectful fun sports fans of all types. Parking is easy and there usually isn't a wait if you come before half-time of any big game. I recommend the loaded tots, BLT with avocado (never thought a sandwich would be great at a bar but the turkey is so fresh) and of course any of the buffalo wings. *Cheers*

We are fans of Islands and regularly go to the Newbury Park restaurant. We met family at this Islands for lunch. Our waitress was not friendly nor welcoming (which is unusual for Islands). I donât think she ever smiled. Burgers and salads were good and fresh. The French fries were yummy and love their fries refills. During our meal, the manager stopped by to see if we needed anything. Heâs always super friendly. His employees need to be upbeat like him!

Multiple locations - the one in Simi Valley is the one we've visited in March 2012 and wanted to add a review since the food and experience was so much fun.
Buddy and I were looking for a spot with booze and reasonably good Mexican. We found kickin' margaritas and really good food. I asked the counter guy (you order at the counter) if the margaritas kicked? He said "If I make 'em they do" and I watched his pour for that pitcher and it was STRONG! The chips are help yourself, with 4 salsas and pickled carrots, onions and jalapenos. I had shrimp fajitas and my buddy had chicken fajitas and both were very good. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We left full and with a buzz. Couldn't have asked for more! If I lived here I'd be a regular.

There are two aspects of this Pub. One is while on a tour you stop for a drink or Ice Cream or Cold Sandwich. It is good for that. The other is you go to an event like a book signing and have a diner under the plane. That is fun and a great way to see authors. The second you have to sign up for way in advance but it is worth it.

I attended a private Birthday Party at the Junkyard Cafe & everyone really enjoyed their food choices. I had a wonderful chicken dish that was just amazing. Others had pizza...a burger or a salad...not one complaint. The decor is really cute too & service was just the best.
