We came to try the pasties, as the are apparently all the rage..... what we got were fairly dry, slightly flavorful pot pies, with no gravy. Apparently you must ask for and pay for gravy to moisten these up. Chicken was pretty much chicken and potatoes, beef had a bit more flavor. Dry, dry dry.
Stopped by for late dinner because it was the first place we encountered after US-2. The staff greeted us quickly and we opted for the patio for the view. We ordered drinks and food. Drinks came fairly quickly, food slightly longer (20 min). Had fish tacos and Michigan Salad. Both very good. Very satisfied with meal, but slower service. Total time about an hour. Should have been quicker for a Sunday night at 7:30 pm. A little too disorganised....

Good that this restaurant is open after 10:00 when nearly everyone else closes in St. Ignace. Nice Patio, inside different seating locations from bar to higher chairs and classic tables. Furniture and interior seems little outdated. Smell of chemicals to clean carpet...However friendly waiter serviced us in good way. Wir ordered whitefish fingers and jalapeño, ham cheese. Both very good. Different bottles of beer offered.

Good food, good service, good price. Located on the lake, although we ate inside and didn't have a view, it appeared as though they had a patio where you could eat outside and view the lake. Nice little local restaurant. Would recommend!

In St Ignace about 10 years ago and at that time thought Driftwood's perch was some of the best we'd ever eaten. Pleased to find Driftwood still in business when we passed through again recently, enjoyed outdoor porch they added since our first visit. Late lunch wasn't crowded, good selection of beer. Hubs and I shared a whitefish basket and a perch basket. Whitefish was good but perch outstanding. I'm a Lake Michigan girl and don't know how I ended up in landlocked Arkansas where there are no perch. We appreciate your continued patronage, thank you! We are happy to hear that your experience at The Driftwood did not disappoint after 10 years :) I guess living in Arkansas makes you all the more appreciative of our fresh water fish! Thank you so much for stopping in, see you next time :)

I stopped in for a dinner and ordered the whitefish special. It came with sweet potatoes and greenbeans & carrots. It was tasty and seasoned well. The sweet potatoes were crunchy and so were the green beans. The service was good. I also had a local beer that was excellent. I certainly would go there again.

Came here based on the ratings and reviews...thought we would give it a try! Glad we did! We started with the pickles and the sauce that accompanied it was very good. Our meals were excellent. The staff was friendly and courteous. The kitchen seemed a bit slow with the later evening rush. We took our dessert to go so we could catch the sunset. Ould definately reccomend coming here to eat.
