AWESOME FOOD!!! Great service. Boys love eating here and so do we. We will be back. Love Chili's!! Clean restrooms and dining area. Greeter was very kind. Waitress was nice but didn't really like that our child spilt a drink. Maybe she deserves a raise.

Logan's Roadhouse

Reviewed By woscar

We were celebrating our anniversary with a movie and dinner. We were headed to a restaurant we've liked in the past when we noticed the Logan's Roadhouse. We missed the driveway, so parked on an adjacent lot and walked back. We'd been to the Logan's in West Monroe a couple of years ago and liked the food, but didn't like the excessive noise level. We were pleased that this restaurant is much quieter and we could carry on a conversation easily. We ordered a Surf'N'Turf combination that we'd seen advertised recently. My favorite part of the meal was the zucchini fries. I usually order rib-eye, so this strip steak was a let down. The skewer of shrimp was OK, but nothing special. We liked our waitress a lot, but the food was mediocre. If we go back, I'll revert to rib-eye.We're sorry to hear that your experience wasn't the best, and we will be looking into this for you. Please give us a call at 1-844-6LOGANS, so we can follow up with your concerns. Thanks.

Atmosphere was great. Band was a nice addition. Food was good, possibly one of the best choices in town but not excellent. Had the fowl play with asparagus. I definitely could have done without the dredge of Parmesan (I think) on the asparagus...

Sundown Tavern

I can never quite understand how Sundown gets great reviews for their food, but, if you asked an 8th grader to make you a sandwich out of their home fridge, that's about what you get at Sundown. Basic, 1960's-style, poorly thought out, uninspiring, and tasteless, on a crappy white roll. And you get potato chips with it.The outside eating area is just about the best in town (tied now with Utility Pizza), but just don't sit near any smokers. Service will be well-intentioned but spotty depending on how many servers are working. Sorry!

Very casual sports bar right by campus. We went for a late lunch on a Saturday and was seated right away. Service was great. My salad eating daughter thought her salad was great, lots of the good stuff. My husband and I both had burgers, very good. Lots of TVs for viewing while you eat and there is a bar area if you prefer that.

The food was fantastic. The service great. Prices were reasonable considering the generous portions. I had the bacon cheesebrger chimichanga and fries. Chimi was HUGE!! Steak bites were tender and the guacamole ranch dip was delicious. Country fried steak was excellent as well. We would have gone back the next night but we had plenty left over for a second meal! The bacon cheeseburger chimichanga is definitely one of our most popular menu items. Our mission is to let you guys come in and relax and have a great meal. So glad that was accomplished. We hope to see you all next time you are in the area!

Ponchatoulas

Ponchatoulas was founded in February 1996, by original owner Johnny Gaudet, who then partnered with Chris Garriga in 2004. With a passion for good food and fun, Gaudet opened the restaurant on the bustling Park Avenue in downtown Ruston. The building hous

My wife stopped by this restaurant on our way back from Arkansas where we were considering for a future relocation. We were tired and hungry and I searched and found Ponchatoulas which was rated 4 1/2 stars and was a seafood restaurant. The was was only about 10 minutes and the texting to inform us the an opening was available worked well. I am almost deaf in 1 ear and have a stutter so my wife did the ordering for us after we made our choices. I wanted sweet ice tea for a drink and since we both like fried pickles we had those for a starter. My tea was served unsweetened but the waitress, whose name I did not hear, did change that on request. We went ahead and ordered our main course while waiting on the fried pickles, I wanted fried catfish well done and my wife wanted the fried shrimp. It took a long while but we got the starter. The fried pickles were very good, not greasy as some places serve them. As soon as our main courses arrived we ordered our desserts since it had taken some time to get our meals. My fish was not well done but was okay while my wife's shrimp were cooked very well and over cooked. We believe the orders were either given wrong to the kitchen or the kitchen made the error. Neither of us liked our main course and were disappointed. We both love bread pudding desserts but were extremely disappointed in that. When we received it, it was more like bread pudding sauce than normal pudding consistency. I want to point out I did leave a generous tip, a little over 24%. Neither my wife nor I was pleased with the food or service so we will not return there.
