This restaurant has recently been renovated into its current state. I have to say they have done a very good job! It is very pleasant and the staff were very helpful and friendly. My daughter requires a gluten free diet and the staff helped a lot to find the good things on the menu. The menus are typical pub food but good quality.

Visited this restaurant on a Wednesday. Place was shambolic, dirty tables waiting to be cleared. Placed order and waited fifty minutes for main courses and my husband got the wrong meal. Service was poor only saw three people serving between the bar and restaurant. Meals disappointing won't go back.

stopped on our way home for a meal. The place is furnished and decorated to a very clean, modern standard and is clean and comfortable. The staff are all very helpful friendly and attentive - thank you. Our food was perfectly acceptable and cooked well, nothing more nothing less. If passing we would go again, but wouldn't go out of our way to eat there.

We regularly visited this excellent value pub/restaurant but always felt a bit too busy. They have now moved a few doors down the Sandgate to the site of the malt cross.now it's even better! All meals are still buy one get one free and are even more mouthwatering. We both had a main course and two drinks each (wine and beer)amazing value at 22 quid. Highly recommend but remember to book for weekends.

Serving quality food from 12.00 Noon till 9pm daily. Where possible we use locally sourced fresh produce. Daily Specials Board, Lunch & Evening Menus.
Being a regular of the kirkmichael Arms, was in yesterday and today, and usually between two and three times a week, I've got to say the food is always consistent and at a very high standard, prices are reasonable and the staff are always great and very attentative, I don't usually write reviews even if people have a bad day which they do, but I felt the need to write one about this place after reading that shocking review yesterday from some old battle axe who obviously likes a moan, to that lady I highly recommend the steak and sausage pie, it's not an Indian dish and your stomach should be fine with that , I don't work for trip advisor, I'm only writing this review as I felt the last review left was very unfair, yes you wait a bit longer when the place is busy just like everywhere else,, as long as the food is good no need to moan, been here dozens of times now now had a single complaint, even when their really busy the owner does her best to accommodate us, folks if your looking for spectacular food made to the highest standards and a relaxed atmosphere with great staff who only have their customers to mind give this place a shot I guarantee yoy won't be disappointed, will be back, in a couple of weeks for more great grub
