Taberna del TÃo Blas is the perfect place to indulge in a wide selection of tapas, pinchos & Rioja wines at world famous Calle Laurel in Logroño (La Rioja, Spain).
On the corner, this small tapas bar has a good selection - wine can be a little more expensive than others

Spent two nights in Logrono recently and visited lots of different Pinxtos bars. A Tu Gusto was by far the best. A really friendly well run bar with a wide variety of Pinxtos and a fantastic selection of Rioja at reasonable prices. The pork kebabs were sitting on the bar on wooden skewers when we ordered them, by the time they reached us they had been taken off the skewers mixed with pieces of potato and deep fried with spanish non spicy chillies, completely transformed into a delicious dish. I have made a promise to myself that Im definitely going back to Logrono and A Tu Gusto is one of the reasons why !

I think we hit the Tapas Jackpot with this wonderful choice. The selections were amazing. I can't remember what my husband had but I had the Pork Cheek, Lamb Ribs and the best was the Duck Sirloin with Fois Gras. DELISH!! The service was wonderful and the woman behind the bar was very helpful in making recommendations and extremely nice. Great time....Great Food....Good Choices. So lucky that we chose this Tapas Bar over the many that are located on Laurel.

Come and enjoy our delicious food and extraordinary wines from our local!
Taberna de Baco was our final stop with our friends who live in Logroño. I was not very hungry and not a big fan of "orejas". La Taberna de Baco made me a believer that "orejas" can be delicious. Our waiter Pedro took great pride in explaining the many fabulous tapas offered. It was a delight to be served by someone who loves their job and the art of beautiful food.

If you blink you may miss this little hidden treasure. I was taken there by a native of Logroño whom I befriended earlier in the evening. She claimed it was her favorite pincho in all of Laurel street, a mighty claim given the plethora of food on this famed street. The place is nothing fancy, it's a narrow bar with almost no seating and with only one item on the menu, a pineapple and prawn skewer. I don't normally eat either of those two items so I was a bit cautious but since someone invited me, I had to take a bit and I was not disappointed. The sweet and saltiness perfectly balanced each other out. Some good and inexpensive crianza rounded out this nice little meal, which was good enough to keep you going until the next place.

Another vote for the best Patatas Bravas. It's what they do! Just pop in, go the bar, get a drink and ask for a portion. In couple of minutes they will be back with a basket of bread and a bowl of perfectly cooked patatas coated with a tomato sauce and a cream sauce. Super lovely. Just what you need for a small bite. Or you could ask for two portions....

Bar man was friendly and didn't know too much English. We don't know too much Spanish so this made for a pleasant time. Background music was huge plus, best of the bars we went too.Food was good in range and taste. Recommend you call in for a drink. Have the Tobelas crianza!
