Certainly can't be authentic as dishes offensive to both Hinuds and Muslems are served. Much prefer to travel to Spice hut in Quesada or Bombay in CatralHello anchorage 3.First of all I didnât understand what do you want to say in your review i think nobody understood, second we are in Spain not in india . We served here what people eat here. Third we offer lots of vegetarian dishes you can have just vegetables dishes.

Service was excellent and lunch menu was inexpensive. Sauce in the curry however was rather thin and lacked seasoning. You clearly get what you pay for.

We fancied an Indian meal on our last evening of our holiday so scoured TripAdvisor for the best in Quesada. Upon arrival the place looks very nice with plenty of vacant outdoor seating and a Menu on the wall outside. Our family of three walked in and were unsure what to do, whether to wait at the bar, sit down or go through to the restaurant. We were eventually greeted by a member of staff and shown to a table, there were only one other group dining at the time (there were four groups of diners at its maximum). When it came to ordering drinks I requested a cider and was given a choice of one on the menu or a new one on draft, which I obliged. I am a big cider fan (living in Somerset!) and they served it room temperature with ice and a slice of lemon... odd. It was super sweet, not the worst but not the best. The menus given were in a poor state of repair - with black marker all over, redacting redundant items, prices and contact numbers etc. After our first round of drinks they ran out of Amaretto, which my wife was drinking, so she opted for a cocktail which she enjoyed. They also ran out of all gin, I hoverheard from the diners on the next table. The mains were average AT BEST, chips were very poor and felt undercooked and the garlic naan were again very average. The prices were a bit high for such a sub-standard meal and we were left very disappointed that we chose here as our final meal, especially with the other reviews on here. The highlights for us were the nice decor and clean toilets, with the lowlights being the main meal, running out of drinks and the chips.

Booked here for a birthday meal because we couldnât get in at the âotherâ Indian. The place was very busy and noisy but we soon forgot about that when the food arrived. Lots of different starters and mains were finished off in no time and lots of good comments were made but flavours. This could be our new favourite. My wife even got a surprise ice cream pudding with candles in it for her birthday with all the restaurant singing.

We tried Kumars last year after hearing nothing but great reviews - we were sceptical as we have never found an Indian restaurant that comes close to the one in our town in the UK. Other half had the chicken tikka masala and quite frankly it resembled AND tasted like a few bits of chicken with a can of Heinz tomatoe sauce poured over it - so disappointing given the reviews - canât remember what I had so it obviously wasnât very memorable - the service wasnât great either so we paid and left.Fast forward to this year and people were still telling us it was good and to give it another go - we relented, but wished we hadnât! In fairness we were served by a very pleasant local lady (Spanish) and enjoyed our starters. We both ordered chicken tikka main and I asked if they had a yoghurt and mint sauce to accompany it (tastes similar to the nuclear green sauce they serve with the poppadoms ) but they didnât - I also asked if they did a mushroom Bhaji but she said they had never heard of it !! I have never eaten in an Indian restaurant that doesnât serve a mushroom bhaji ! So, we moved forward and I asked if I could have more of the nuclear green sauce. The meal was âokâ I wouldnât have said the chicken had been grilled in a tandoori oven as described as there were no âcharredâ marks to support this.So up to this point, it had actually been ok, despite the omission of the sauce and the bhaji. The lady who I assume is âfront of houseâ from other reviews, cleaned our plates and, as you do, I said it had been very pleasant, thank you - no response. Nothing. Thinking she may not have heard me, I commented on the atrocious weather - again, nothing - no comment, no acknowledgment that I had spoken. This disgraceful attitude spoilt our entire evening and I would not return to this restaurant if it was the only place to eat in southern Spain
