Dropped by here for Saturday lunch. We were very impressed by laid back nature of the place. Chairs, tables with umbrellas out on the grass. The view is amazing. The food was excellent. I had the house sav blanc with lunch and it was very pleasant. Lovely chatty owners that we met. All, in all, an ideal lunch!Thanks Megan & Drew glad you took the opportunity to ride the bikes down and have lunch with us, lovely to meet you both and to satisfy your hungers too

We stopped here for lunch & were greeted by very friendly & helpful staff as well as friendly locals. Some people came over to chat with us as they do in small towns. Our lunch was served very quickly. Very generous servings, a traditional pub meal, delicious. It was relaxing sitting & watching the passing traffic in this quaint little town. The accommodation is apparently lovely here as it has been recently refurbished.

A total turnaround with new Chefs here. Only our first experience with the new management and kitchen and wait staff, but it was an amazing upturn from the previous cooking team; most enjoyable meal, and recommended for a pleasant evening with a partner or friends. Our new hosts are Anita and Steve supported in the kitchen by Darren and at the bar by Helen.

Called in here on an extremely hot day,good A/C, bought one of their very yummy bee stings,very sticky but that wasn't a problem,pies looked good but the bee sting won.

If your looking for non backpacker accommodation then this is the place to be, we stayed for 6 nights and had a room with en-suite, room was small but had a TV and small Fridge, bathroom was large with toilet and shower, if your looking for somewhere to rest after a long day of touring this is more than adequate, the bar had a good selection of drinks and a good menu with daily specials, they also have a drive through bottleshop and pokies plus fox sport in the bar

Was recommended Flame Tree for a quick lunch and we were not disappointed. Down a little side street from the main strip, initial impressions were not brilliant. However we persevered and I'm glad we did. We ordered a green paw paw salad with calamari and some grilled barramundi with salad. The paw paw salad was crunchy and delicious it was very well seasoned though I would have liked a little more chilli. The barramundi was tasty too.

We stopped in for a coffee (with almond milk), juice and a few vegan/gluten free slices. All was delicious and well priced. Nice little shady area outside to sit and relax too.
