We were a bit surprised there were so few people in there. We had a lovely wine and great food, a very well cooked steak and a lamb shank with yummy vegetables. The pavlova was also delicious.

Had a salmon which was so succulent and delicious. Veggies are cooked perfectly and there is a nice little assortment. The menu has a lot to choose from. Had an eye fillet the next night. Outstanding. Well stocked bar. The service is great and the atmosphere is so friendly I feel like a local. He sure to perch up at the bar before dinner. Always nice and interesting people barside.

I always drop in here for a sandwich in my travels. A simple chicken and salad or corned beef and salad sandwich. Always tastes delicious. Fresh bread and fresh everything else. I have also had breakfast here which was yum. It's a little cafe. Nothing too fancy with friendly service and not expensive.

The food here is good. They have a good variety.The staff are nice and ordering is easy.Service is fast, the only issue is you have to pay for your food and then go and get your drinks and pay for them separately. Would be great if they could combine them.Have eaten here 4 times this week, for lunch and dinner.Would and will eat here again.

You have to call in and check out this grand old hotel. Yes itâs looking a little worse for wear and most nights itâs empty, so it lacks atmosphere On the positive the beers are cold and at a good price, extensive menu which offers a petite range, which is great as you can get tired of the huge serves. We ate at the bar, for the price the meal was great, $10 for a petite fish n chips, nice to sit back and imagine what it must have been like in its hay day

The staff are all very friendly and helpful as needed.The restaurant is nicely set out, but I would book if you are not eating early as it does get busy.The food is awesome, have not had a bad meal here yet.Tried the steak, lamb shank pie and the Mexican chilly beef and all were worth it!Will continue to eat here when in town.Dear Australian OwenThank you for your excellent review and for your continued patronage. You are quite right, we are not cheap but considering the quality of the food, the serving size and the consistency I would argue any dish is well worth the money.
