Have had quite a few meals here now and not a bad one amongst them. Staff are amazingly friendly and the food is spot on everytime . If you are just passing through the Granite Belt or have come down for a mini break this cafe is well worth the stop.

Been here twice now: on both occasions food was not available although they do claim to provide at certain times. There are pleasant aspects from the winery and the tasting room is convivial: however, on our visit it appeared they were not expecting too many visitors as it was in a fairly untidy state.Wines tried were OK.Thank you for taking the time to review our cellar door and vineyard. We truly value the opinions of our customers and apologise that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. On this occasion we may have been packing our wine club orders or in fact doing our office refurb.Providing our visitors with the best possible experience and service has always been our mission. We want you to know that we truly enjoy sharing our passion for our wines and destination with visitors and want you to walk out the door feeling fulfilled by your visit. If you come back to our cellar door I would love to have the opportunity to speak with you directly, so please ask for me. Have eaten just about every pub from Stanthorpe to Tenterfield over the last 12 months and this was probably my least favourite. Mid week lunch so the food on offer was the fry, grill variety. Massive ( ridiculous) size portions of pretty basic fare....Should have ordered the burger which are apparently good here...Also could have shared 1 or 2 items between 3 easily. The service was terrific though and sitting on the verandah with a pleasant breeze was lovely

The award winning Vineyard Café retains the special ambience of the old country church in which it is set, and offers a warm welcome with caring and generous hospitality. The Vineyard Cafe menus blend culinary tradition with the intelligent use of a wide
A very good meal at this restaurant in an old church building. Friendly welcome and prompt service always help and that's what we got. Not a large menu but interesting choices. For entrees we had spring rolls, just about the best we've had, and an amazing blue cheese souffle which was served with pear and pepperoni. Mains were very nicely cooked eye fillet steaks. The service was prompt and the prices for the servings sizes were fair. The souffle was $18, the steaks were $38. The chef came out after we had finished and told us that the food is sourced from the local suppliers - cheese from Stanthorpe Cheese, and meat from Tenterfield. A winning formula. There is plenty of parking and it's easy to find on the highway at Ballandean.

Modern Italian Restaurant situated in Ballandean Estate Wines. Sit among the 160 year old oak barrel and have a Scrumptious meal. Matt and Bobbi Wells are back and so is the mushroom soup! :)
We were staying in the area and thought we'd try the Barrelroom so made a last minute booking. We were warmly welcomed and seated with wine orders taken promptly. The local wine we chose was very nice. The menu had a range of local foods, and we chose the lamb and beef. Both were cooked perfectly and the accompaniments were delicious. The ambience was also very pleasant. We enjoyed everything about our evening and would recommend this restaurant.
