In all fairness to the restaurant, most of the food is above average plus the view of Lake Mission Viejo is amazing. However, if you are concerned with your health, the beef that is used in the Udon Beef Noodle Soup is mostly fat and gristle. I couldn't ean 90% of the beef because it was really disgusting. I spoke to our server about it, even showed the beef to her and her response expressed no concern at all to my issue. She said that the beef is always like that and then she walked away. This is not the way to promote good customer service, especially when their prices are a bit higher than most Japanese restaurants in the area. Next time I want sushi or Udon, I will try somewhere else that shows more compassion to their customers.

The service and staff were excellent. The restaurant is light and the decor is good. The ambiance was good. The Thai curry I ordered did not have enough spice or flavour for my taste.

If you love sushi & sashimi, you will absolutely LOVE Sashimi. Everything they make is beyond delicious and beautifully presented. Like a work of art. The owners are beyond kind and take care of you, like you are in their home as their guests. Don't miss Sashimi!!!!

Don't waste your time and money. This place has changed. Went here tonight to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Big mistake. The wonton soup was lukewarm with 3 wontons in the bowl. The fried rice was a mess. The rice wasn't even fried. They took regular rice and doused soy sauce all over it and it was 10 bucks. They offered to take it back to re-do but I didn't want to chance having something done to my food. The Lo Mein noodles - same way--covered with soy sauce. Maybe the head Chef took the day off to celebrate with his family. Maybe the busboy was cooking-not sure. Will not go back again. It's too bad. It use to be a good place to go. I'll drive to Irvine for Chinese food from now on. I give this place minus 5 stars.

Shabu is fun! You cook your own thinly sliced meet by waving it around in boiling water. You are given a plate of veggies to eat with it also. It is a different experience. Price is medium. If you are a big eater, you may not feel filled up though. Enjoyable expierence overall.

This was a take out visit. We ordered Spicy Fried Rice Beef (Good), Crying Tiger (Very Good), and Tom Kha Gai Soup (Very Good). Service was fast and friendly. The decor is pleasing and typical Thai.

Quaint setting. Good service and you tend to get overwhelmed by all the choices they offer. Every sushi roll we've ordered has been great! We've eaten there several times and never been disappointed. I think it is one of the best sushi restaurants we've ever eaten at and we've eaten it all over the country including Hawaii.
