Discover Restaurants offering the best Asian food in Roskilde, Zealand, Denmark. Home to the four-day Roskilde Festival, arguably the best European rock festival, hilly Roskilde is less than 20 miles from Copenhagen. If hordes of rock stars aren't pillaging the town of 50,000, the excellent Viking ship museum is Roskilde's prime attraction. Featuring five ships discovered at the bottom of the fjord, you can add to the Viking experience by rowing the fjord on an hour-long longboat trip. The town is also famed for its much adapted 12th-century Roskilde Domkirke Cathedral.

You get a pleasant surprise. Both prepared dishes, and lots of it. Also possible to choose amongst fresh meat and vegetables, and get it fried on the spot. The restaurant is made with basin holding a lot of quite colorful Koi's. The service are very very serviceminded.

Food is OK. We chosed 'all eat you can from menu' BUT the waiter told that it will start with selections from kutchen rather than that we chosed. That is what was in the announcement thay had. Sushi was ok, didnt like rice papirs, where there were too much green so few creb and salmon..You dont get the value for the money you pay, better places in city for 500kr for 2..Roskilde section is to my surprise better than Islands Brygge..

Nira Sushi - RoskildeThe BEST restaurant in Roskilde (and maybe the best sushi restaurant in Europe)How do you create such a (sushi) restaurant succës ?The story begins with the owner. He started up at Sticks n Sushi in Copenhagen, right from the beginning of "the sushi wawe". Here he spent much time to produce new tasty dishes, aswell as to train new kitchen chefs. Later he built up the taste in 2 other minor sushi restaurants, before he, finally, opened up NIRA Sushi back in 2015.TASTE1) Increasingly better raw ingredients, and better than the opponents.2) The introduction of new ingredients aswell as new relevant products and menu´s.3) The ability to create....with focus on clear taste elements, without letting this process get out of hand.... (i personally believe, that NIRA is deli architect sushi).4) The ability to serve menus in a delicious, photographic, way with respect to a variety in ingredients, colours and more. 5) A restaurant that knows its ingredients, tastes and textures, and who listen to the customer voice, would be able to elevate the general impression over time.SOFT VALUESWhen you to all this add up with :A) A quiet relaxed serene ambience, drop-in restaurant and take-awayB) A wonderful Chef & his wife + 2 youngstersC) Friendliness, respect, attention, cleanliness and moreI just visited the restaurant yesterday, and they told me, that more and more customers from abroad come to visit the place. A couple of norwegians come to buy NIRA sushi, just to bring it home !!Businessmen sometimes buy NIRA sushi, and bring it to their danish customers !!Noone is perfect, but next time when you pass by the city of Roskilde, then consider to leave an hour free for a relaxed visit to Mr. NI and Ms. RA.NIRA sushi is now voted at 2 websites as being the best restaurant in Roskilde !!

An No is a small place, located just outside the city center. We went there to get some takeaway, since we heard it's owner is former chef at a Michelin Thai restaurant in Copenhagen. The place itself is small and not anything in particular. But you get the street food "feel" and the open kitchen let's you see your food being prepared - as you would on the street. The dishes are simple, but very tasty. If anything we could have wished for a little bit larger portions, but I eat a lot so perhaps it's just me The prices were OK not cheap, but not expensive either.Staff was kind and friendly and service was good.So.. Good food, good service and reasonable prices. We will definitely come back and will also recommend this place.

We come here often. Not because it is particularly close by, neither because it is cheap - sushi should never be cheap. This place, and the food in particular, is worth the trip to otherwise boring Ros Torv, a mall one kilometer or two from Roskilde central square. The food is excellent! Well balanced in taste, saltyness and salinity, almost all the rolls, sticks and nigiri bites are equally lovely. And yet. At the end of the Day, there is one roll to rule Them all: the youki roll. If you go to Zhiki Sushi, you must have the Youki roll! And have it at the restaurant, while the panko inside is still hot.The place as such is chique and still subtil in its decor with soft chairs and dark colors. Most of the service personel is fairly experienced, but be prepared to get served by someone in training - and remember that you were also inexperienced once.Go to Zhiki Sushi when in Roskilde. End of discussion.

ALWAYS a good solid experience. Sweet, salt, sour, acidic, spicy....You sense quite clearly that the owners mother has had a big restaurant in Bangkok for many years.I will try to give you a good advice : Try this food just once in your life !!

This cool place comes with lots of relaxed and friendly atmosphere as well as delicious food and drinks. Simple, yet very tasty dishes from the orient is served with excellent homemade drinks/beverages. Moreover, the cocktails (optional without alcohol) are very good and of course much too small - you will definitely need another one...Seems to be a great place to have some drinks and dinner with friends or family. Will visit again.
