I was pleasantly surprised when my food arrived from Skip the Dishes (came within 20 minutes!). We had Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala - both were full of flavor and exceptional. Will be return customers for sure!

Ended up going here for lunch a couple weeks ago. The place was clean and the server was friendly. The food wasn't very good. One dish was nothing special. I asked the waitress what soup she would recommend. So I believed her and chose that one. It had way too much fish sauce, the meat was an off colour and tasted off. Overall the dish was terrible. It even smelled gross. After the waitress served our food, that was the last time she came to the table.

We ordered Kung Pao (Edmonton Airport location) after reading on the website about their best sellers...the dish was totally a disappointment. Felt like eating a bunch of boiled noodles with 4 chicken pieces (YES..Literally 4 small chicken pieces in lunch size Wokbox box). After finishing 80% then could taste a bit of sauce. Wanted to ask the cook if they forgot to add the sauce :/. For $8, it was just not worth it. WIll never go back.

Not interested in modern decor. The place was clean and provided a wonderful buffet. There appeared to be only small amounts of some items but it was stocked fresh before it was all gone. We enjoyed the fruit bar and the desserts. My 1/2 asian husband loved it and we will eat there again. Reminds me of a restaurant in Vancouver's chinatown. Staff was great and quick to answer any questions. One of the better eating experiences we have had lately found some of the breading a little much on the chicken balls and prawns. How many buffets serve prawns though now.

We had a wonderful family lunch here recently. Although the outside doesnât exactly grab you and pull you inside, we were pleasantly received once we entered. Being that we didnât come during peak hours, we were spoiled with attention from the staff. The menu has all the standard Japanese restaurant items and several creative twists with smile inducing titles. Freshness of ingredients made each dish a tasty experience. I have been to Japanese restaurants all over but this oneâs food/presentation is near the very top of the list. So much of their menu left to explore. We will be returning often when we visit Leduc again.
Alberta, Canada Food Guide: 10 Pizza food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Nisku
Before boarding our plane home, my husband and I thought we would get some noodles from Wok Box inside Edmonton's International Airport. We were just half an hour before boarding, but certainly had enough time to order noodles and broth to take with us.Wox Box had a large fast food counter with one young man working when we approached it. Since he was very busy with lots of orders and people asking him questions, we waited. While waiting, we read the menu and thought we could just ask for udon noodles and broth -- probably the simplest item compared with tempura green beans and other fancy names. It took a while for udon and broth to materialize in a plastic bowl for us, with an extra staff person arriving just in time to help the young man (order taker, chef, informant, cashier) who actually did not give clear information to other customers, except with "yes", "no", and "that has meat".While our broth smelled meaty and came with some herbal garnishes, the noodles were broken. We instinctively knew only the cheapest noodles or leftover ones would be in such sad shape.Still, we paid $10 for our meager lunch in a plastic container. Airport price, but not very good food. We got thinking that if airport food was better all around, people would clamor for it because travelers would always need sustenance unless they were prepared to pay even more while flying. However, we also felt a bit sorry for the young man who was probably a student working almost solo at the airport way out of town, during his Christmas holidays. What a job. We hoped he was paid well to make profits for Wox Box that seemed to be quite an establishment in Alberta now.As for the second person who had run in to finish packaging our order, she didn't even thank us when we paid. Maybe she was also a student, perhaps less skilled than the chef, but working out of town during Christmas just the same.Okay, we thought. These kids are trying to make a living. We let it go until we found out Wox Box actually had many locations. We then said to each other that it would be unthinkable for all of them to charge so much for broken noodles. So, we tried Wok Box but would say âNo, thanksâ to a second time.
