I enjoyed the Alfredo sauce with broccoli and chicken the last time I dined here. I have eaten here a couple of times and it smells great! If you love carbs this is the place!

This tiny restaurant in a narrow store-front in a strip mall just steps from the Purdue campus serves Thai food fast. Since I ate the entire large portion of pineapple rice with chicken, the meal was good but lacked the finesse of other Thai restaurants I been to. My server was attentive. I recommend Basil Thai for adults like myself who have forgotten our long ago college days!

I've never had a more tasteless pho. Every one i could see was filling it full of hoison sauce. if i had waned hoison soup i would have ordered hoison soup. The chicken curry was equally bland. The goi cuon roll full of frozen thawing lettuce. Total miss all around.

I was told that the indian restaurants at purdue are not that great, but when i went into shaunkeen and had the well known dish 'pav bhaji' it changed my perception because it tasted almost like you are having it in india. Though a little over the priced then india but, okay for an average meal cost in usa.

Have you ever ordered a restaurant dish, only to wish it had more, less, or different flavors or ingredients? Have you wanted to go back into the kitchen and create your own signature dish? You can do nearly that at Hu Hot. Load a bowl with your choice of proteins and vegetables, add sauces and oils, and hand it over to the "grill warriors" to cook it up for you on the big, round flat-top while you watch. Create, eat, and repeat; it's all-you-can-eat for about $15, plus tax and tip (and apps and desserts if you want them). For round one I did a beef bowl. My round two was seafood. They provide "recipe" cards that you can follow, or get as creative as you want. I took inspiration from their suggestions, but made it my own. I had to learn to be more aggressive with the sauces than at first; use plenty to achieve good flavor results! For my seafood dish, I particularly liked the ginger sauce and garlic and lemon oils. Ingredients were good and fresh, the proteins were obviously thawed from frozen, but that's understandable. The "crab" is imitation, so I skipped it, but I was surprised to find mussels, which were a nice addition to my dish. It was a fun, tasty, and filling experience to share with family. If anyone does not get enough to eat here, it's their own fault! We appreciate the time you took write such a kind and in detail review. The right amount of sauce is certainly important to flavor the food, and we're so glad to hear that you enjoy the ability to customize each trip. We hope to see you again in the future!

We stopped here for dinner and while the Sushi was very good, they do not offer many other selections. My wife does not like sushi, but I thought they might have other options for her but they do not. The menu is a bit confusing and our waiter could not explain it vey well which was disappointing. I would go back here for the sushi, but she is not interested in a second visit. Parking is a bit of a mess, good luck finding a place to park on weekend.

This is a nice place if you want good sushi. The restaurant is very small and very basic. (It definitely isnât following the trend of the newer flashier sushi places that keep popping up everywhere with their dim lighting and loud club music). They have a great selection of traditional Japanese fair. The kids enjoyed the chicken teriyaki and rice. We order about 12 sushi rolls with the other adults at the table. Everything was very good and fresh. They even have a roll with peanut butter in it! They have a small selection of beer, sake and soft drinks.
