stopped by cause i was craving some Mongolian food and was pleasantly surprised!!...they have a good selection of meats and vegetables to choose from and the cooks do a great job preparing the food for you...the hostess when i was there was a different story however...no water refills when there was only 3 of us there at that time.. .and she handed me the check when i haven't even finished my soup and haven't even tried my food yet...bottom line is decent food..lousy service..don't be surprised to be handed your check before you even finish eating..

Thai Kitchen Restaurant

Reviewed By Sourdoe2u

Playing tourist with my visiting 85 year old mother I took her to the Empire Mine. Leaving there a stranger recommended Thai Kitchen among other restaurants as a place to eat. My Mother much to my surprise had never had Thai food before. I'm a real fan of curries so it was easy for me to say yes to checking out the Thai Kitchen. Parking is ample in the back and we were the only ones in the place late that afternoon. We ordered two different curries and each of us were very happy with our choices. Her yellow curry was not too spicy and made a Thai food fan out of her. We both enjoyed the service and pleasant atmosphere.

We do not dine out often, and when a friend mentioned how good the buffet was at the Royal Dragon, we put it on the list of places to try. Though not usually fans of buffet, we have had some pleasant experiences elsewhere,After an event planning meeting went long a few nights ago, we stopped in at 8:30 pm, not realizing the lateness of the hour. We were quickly seated and offered the buffet. My husband asked for a menu which came pronto. We ordered 3 items; Kung Pao Chicken, House Special Chow Mein, Szechuan Vegetables and of course steamed rice. The Kung Pao Chicken had large chunks of correctly cooked chopped chicken thigh and tender crisp vegetables, cooked dry style, not overly hot. Nicely done. The House Chow Mein had large bites of beef, chicken and fat little prawns with perfectly cooked noodles, again, not swimming in sauce. nicely seasoned. The Szechuan vegetables were delicious, in a spicy, slightly vinegary sauce.Even at the lateness of the hour, the rice was correctly cooked, with a slight tooth.Large crisp sembei served with the check. Very reasonable prices. The servers were courteous and attentive.Next time, we'll try the buffet.

Panoy Bistro serves fantastic Lao food. My husband and I have eaten here twice, and we'll definitely go back again. The exterior of the restaurant is not very attractive. The parking lot is small, and it can be difficult to get a parking spot when the place is busy.Inside the building, their are two establishments: Steve's Cafe 174, which is a funky 12-seat bar that serves beer and wine; and Panoy Bistro, which is a small restaurant serving Lao cusine. The bar takes up the left side of the building. The restaurant is on the right side of the building, and a hallway runs between the two operations. You can purchase beer or wine in the bar and take it to your table, but the restaurant doesn't take drink orders. However, you can also sit in the bar, and if you can catch the attention of the restaurant waitress, you can order food and eat it in the bar. There is a flat screen TV in the bar, so you can catch televised sporting events here. The restaurant's interior features attractive southeast Asian decor. Food can be ordered on a scale from mild to extremely spicy. We've enjoyed everything we've ordered here. The bartender (Steve) is friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is operated by a mother/daughter team. The mother does the cooking, and the daughter runs the front of the restaurant. She is often the only waitress. When things get busy in the restaurant, she seems to get flustered, and can seem abrupt and unfriendly. But the food is so good here that it's worth dealing with some hiccups in the service.

Taste of Thai

We love Thai food. My husband lived in Thailand so he knows what’s true Thai food and what’s not. This place is authentic Thai. Unbelievable delicious. Excellent service from the staff. The mango and sweet rice desert was to die for. I have tofu pad Thai and it was amazing. I highly recommend this place for a night out or a lunch date. Atmosphere is great and you’ll love the food!
