Good there at least once a month after Church on Sunday. Most of the time the food has a good taste, price is good and they provide good service.

Visiting family in Florence and decided on Japanese cuisine. My son spoke well of Sakura. Only negative thing I heard was it's a hit or miss on chicken (depending on who is in the kitchen). The place was small and loaded with stuff like tvs, Japanese decor, plants, etc. Wait staff was ok. Nothing exciting. Food was reasonably priced and the portions were good. I couldn't get over the carrots. They were very good. I would normally pass on them but they were so good they reminded me of yams...sweet and tender. Try it you just might like it.

In America if you want to skimp on the quality you always go for quantity. The menu here is pretty large and serves several staple Chinese dishes. If you're a normal person feel free to order the lunch portion, which they serve no matter the time of day. If you're a beast then get the dinner portion. The difference in price is 2 or 3 dollars but the difference in size is 2 to 3 times. My wife and I ordered dinner portions and we were eating Chinese food for the next 2 or 3 days. It's reasonably priced at 7 to 10 dollars a plate. The flavor is lacking and you can tell the ingredients are nothing special but it will fill you up and give you a Chinese food fix if you need one. The space itself is very dated and nothing special and the server's answer to every question was "I don't know I don't eat Chinese food". So there you have it: lots of food for the money.

Located conveniently in Florence, South Carolina 29501, Miyami Japanese Steakhouse has been proud of serving our valued customer a range of Japanese cuisine for a long period of time. With many years of experience, we understand the right way to combine a
Just to be clear from the start, I ate at Miyami a few times years ago and this is my first time back in about ten years. In the past, I've eaten at the grill where the whole show takes place and I remember it being pricey but good. This time, however, we ate at the regular table. The dining room area is a little cramped and, right away, I could tell that the menu was expensive. It was $14 for a veggie plate (sauteed mixed veggies, fried rice, soup, and salad), which is what I opted for. Be warned, the plate comes with two shrimp so if you're vegan or vegetarian or allergic to shellfish, make sure to tell them not to include the shrimp. The soup was the basic broth with one mushroom affair. The salad very small and was literally nothing but iceberg lettuce with a little dressing on top. The meal itself was the most paltry, pathetic excuse for a veggie plate I have ever seen. The veggies consisted mostly of onions (I know this trick - it's one of the cheapest and longest lasting veggies) and the rice tasted like it had been cooked the day before in oil, put back on the grill in more oil the day we ordered it, and served that way. It was way overcooked, hard, and full of grease. To make matters worse, it didn't even fill up the plate and after spending $31, I was still hungry. I'm also pretty sure the white sauce (which I desperately needed to eat the rice) was on its way out. You could get more, better, and cheaper Japanese food just about anywhere. Now, on to the service. Waitress took forever to bring drinks and didn't bring the proper silverware. When we asked for another fork, it didn't come so we had to steal one from the table behind us. We asked for napkins, she came back with one napkin. Asked for another, she brought one more. When the food arrived, we realized we were still short a fork and, yet again, had to steal one from the table behind us. On top of that, one of our party's order was not brought out and was only put on the grill after the rest of us had received our food. You might be able to overlook "one bad night" but, at such high prices, I won't be taken anymore chances here. I'm sorry to say this place has gone way downhill.

We went to this place on a Friday evening. I have been here for lunch several times before a very long time ago. The food was mediocre and the service used to be terrible. So I stopped going. But when we went there Friday, we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and the service was good too. But they were not busy, in fact we were the only people there. We were glad we went there as we like Thai food very much

Restaurant and restrooms are no clean and need a major upgrade. Very outdated and in need of repair. The floor creaks when you walk over it because it is so badly cracked (in large hunks). Many items to choose from on the buffet; however, I was very disappointed that a meat substitute wasn't offered for vegetarians. No tofu on an Asian buffet?? All the entrees were very bland, not hot, and with no individual taste. The dessert bar displayed beautifully decorated cakes and even they were tasteless. Very disappointed.

New restaurant in Florence, SC
Got sweet and sour chicken, and teriyaki chicken. There was enough to share with a child and 1 adult. Sweet and sour was good, teriyaki just ok . I thought the price was high. $$$ Iâll let someone else decide if itâs worth it. If I go back it will be for the cheaper early lunch meal
