I've eaten at Maiko with friends and family dozens of times. The food is fresh, very good, and beautifully presented. The restaurant is lovely and atmosphere great (if a bit excessively dim). Unfortunately the service is very hit and miss. Or more like mediocre or miss. I don't think I've ever gone and felt I had an exceptionally positive service. Wait staff is generally indifferent and seem rushed always. They can be cold or close to rude, forget things, and disappear for ages. Most recently, our waiter forgot to put in part of our sushi order. When we inquired, he didn't apologize. Then he took down the missing bits to resubmit but we finished our meal, cleared the table, and paid our bill without ever seeing our food, or hearing another word about it.For the prices you pay, they really should step up their service game.

Avocado Sushi du Village is a restaurant located in the heart of the Pointe-Claire village. They serve traditional and fusion sushis and tartars in their bistro, offer take out service and cater for events. The two owners, Dominique St-Laurent and Sylvie
A great treat and visit to this quaint and beautiful restaurant. The service was excellent. The quality of the sushi was delicious, and the artistic display was detailed and creative. The combinations created by the chef was spot on. The selection of sake was also very well chosen. I can't wait to go back for more!

I finally found a place that delivered to my hotel that apparently is too far out of Montreal (close to the Airport) that no one offers delivery to!But...from the three dishes I ordered (beef and broccoli, sesame chicken and steamed rice) the rice was the best!!!The beef was ok, broccoli was fresh, rice is always good but the sesame chicken HAD to be days old or sitting out all day and then covered in teriyaki sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds / it was disgusting. The delivery guy was nice and funny tho so that and the broccoli and rice was why I scored this two out of five!!Save your money!

This is a pretty good sushi option in Dorval. We've only been for take-out but were satisfied and have ordered several times. The convenient location near the service road and some major arteries, amid an otherwise residential area, makes this an easy pick-up dinner on the way home.

Had a great meal here. The service was excellent and the food was really good. Nicely presented, fresh, and wonderful. Salads are a little pricey for what you get but the sushi and sashimi platters are really nice and miso soup is very good. All in all a very good meal and experience for a reasonable price.

Been there a few times with colleagues, Always impressed!Disclaimer; I LOVE Korean food. This is about as authentic as it gets in the area, be sure to speak to the staff in Korean if you know how to.Kimchi is so fresh and clearly home made - a must have.Value is certainly there as well, it's surprisingly inexpensive for very good quality food. For sure a hidden gem in the Dorval area, if you're visiting from out of town it's not terribly far from the airport either, not walking distance but a short uber drive away.

We went to have dinner at this restaurant. The restaurant is very spacious and has some nice interior design to it. I ordered the one person combo which includes a soup, vegetable, main course, appetizer and steam rice. The pricing was very reasonable. The staff were very courteous and attentive. the food was delicious and had enough portion for one person. They served the food in quick time and the flavour of the food was amazing. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. But we will definitely be visiting in the future.
