Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Broadstairs. Broadstairs is a coastal town on the Isle of Thanet in the Thanet district of east Kent, England, about 80 miles (130 km) east of London. It is part of the civil parish of Broadstairs and St Peter's, which includes St Peter's, and had a population in 2011 of about 25,000. Situated between Margate and Ramsgate, Broadstairs is one of Thanet's seaside resorts, known as the "jewel in Thanet's crown". The town's crest's Latin motto is Stella Maris ("Star of the Sea"). The name derives from a former flight of steps in the chalk cliff, which led from the sands up to the 11th-century shrine of St Mary on the cliff's summit.

While visiting my favourite coastal town, my girlfriend and I thought we would try the local Indian. On entering it was underwhelming, not the welcoming you would normally expect to receive. The was dated, the carpet a little grubby but we were in. Service was just OK, nothing endearing but the food was OK, although the garlic naan was garlic bread. The Chicken tikka and Dopiaza was tasty and the Saag aloo was OK but a bit greasy with too much Spinach. Priced well though

The Margate restaurant is nestled in the heart of the quirky old town surrounded by cafes, retro antique shops. Its a stones throw from the world famous Turner Art Gallery.
We came here for an early dinner and found the place humming with happy diners. Really enjoyed my chicken biryani - both the taste and the presentation. The man in charge of front of house managed that rare act of being professional but also witty, which made for a fun customer experience. Would highly recommend.Thank you for your review, we hope to see you again soon

We are a small independent family run business and have been happily serving Broadstairs for nearly 20 years. Previously Da had a small restaurant in Margate, we have been serving Thanet for nearly 27 years. We buy our main ingredients fresh daily and try
Popped in on a Tuesday evening. It proved that we needed to book, they were fully booked! There was, however, the take out menu. We chose a £20 meal for two. We had a prawn dish, beef dish, chicken green curry, rive and toasts. All were really tasty.Staff was brilliant, chatty and informative.I would highly recommend this venue.
