Meson Gaucho, in Cuernavaca is a place to visit more than once if you are in the area. Although this may not be appreciated by the purists, the menu goes beyond traditional Argentinean food and offers a variety of soups, poultry and fish dishes. I found the onion soup and the gazpacho extremely satisfying. The skirt steak (arrachera) was well prepared. The chorizos need lots of improvement. The service and the atmosphere were great. The wine list is affordable and appropriate.To conclude, I visited several times while in Cuernavaca!

Have been here many times and not once disappointed. The food is very good, at a fair price and coupled with excellent service. The Picanha and the Huachinango are equally outstanding. On a hot day try and sit near a fan though as it gets muggy.
