This stadium is absolutely beautiful! The behind the scenes of the uniforms, trophies, and the indoor waterfall are breathtaking regardless if you are a Husker fan or not!

For the last 3x weeks we wife and I have been touring central USA whilst visiting our son who is currently playing college basketball in the states. One of the things we did whilst in Omaha was to see a university ice hockey game at the Baxter Arena. Having also doing an NHL hockey game watching the Washington Capitals in DC the week prior, I would rate the Baxter Arena better than the NHL arena. Better seating, smaller venue, as good atmosphere, ease of entry and exit better, the whole experience was brilliant. There are 3x hotels within sight of the arena and although the area is predominantly a business district, we found very safe to walk at night, no homeless people. The district near the venue was excellent, plenty of eating options and numerous sports bars and free public parking. Only down side was that the distance to down town Omaha and old Market etc. No shuttle buses which meant you realy need a hire car or similar if basing yourself here. We stayed in downtown Omaha and drove to the game.

This is a very clean very nice small arena. The staff was very nice and the Sears very close to the action. I would like to see a hockey game here.
